Hi guys! Всем привет! Welcome to my channel Alice's Yummy Food.
Milo says hi. Today I have a really special recipe for you guys.
It's going to be chocolate Baileys mousse cake
and covered with this green velvety spray
which looks perfect for this Christmas coming up.
It's green, it's Christmasy, it's festive.
It's got booze in there. It's got chocolate. What more do you want?
And this video is part of holiday foodie collaboration
with other 15 YouTubers.
We decided to give something back to the community
and pick one charity that we support.
I will talk more about this and about something really private
that happened in my life
and was really significant at the end of the video,
so make sure you watch till the end.
And yeah, let's get started.
Take an 18cm pan, line it with some parchment paper
and then spray around the edges and inside with some cooking spray.
We're gonna start off with dry ingredients,
add your flour and then cocoa powder, salt
and cinnamon and sift that through and mix everything together.
In a different bowl add your egg white,
whisk that through until you get nice and soft peaks.
In another bowl add butter, sugar,
mix that through until you get nice sandy consistency.
Then add your egg yolk, mix that again.
Then we're going to add Baileys and all the dry ingredients.
Mix everything together until
you get nice combined mixture.
Lastly we're going to add our egg whites and gently mix
them together until you get nice chocolatey mixture.
Pour that into your prepared tin
and we're going to bake this for about 15-20 minutes
at 180 degrees Celsius or 350 Fahrenheit.
When the cake is nice and ready leave it to cool down for half an hour.
Next we're going
to roll out marzipan add icing sugar onto your counter
and then your marzipan
using a rolling pin gently stretch it out
and then cut out a circle using
baking pan we used earlier so it fits nice
and well into our cake next we're
going to make Baileys cream
so add double cream or heavy cream into your
bowl with icing sugar and then add Baileys and we're going to whisk
everything until it's nice
and smooth do not over mix the mixture then we're
going to separate the mixture into two bowls
to make the white chocolate mousse
we're going to add white chocolate into a large bowl
then add your heavy or
whipping cream and melt it in a microwave
in 30-second breaks or you can
also do it over the double boiler
on the stove once your chocolate has cooled
down we're going to add our gelatin
and mix that in take your remaining whipped
cream and we're going to add white chocolate in there
and mix together until it's all combined
place a piping bag into a glass
and then add your mousse in there and then pipe that into our
prepared cake tin just all around and then shake a little
so it's nice and set then add your cake
and marzipan layer place a bowl over the double boiler
and then add your eggs inside and whisk
them lightly then add sugar
and whisk again we'll be whisking it for good five minutes until the
mixture becomes nice white
and pale just like that then add your soaked gelatin leaves inside and
whisk again and make sure you take it off the heat
then we're going to keep whisking our mixture
until it becomes nice and warm
then we're going to melt our dark chocolate and add that slowly
into the egg and sugar mixture and keep whisking constantly
until all the chocolate is gone. You will see it's gonna go
nice, dark and chocolatey.
Then add the rest of your whipped cream inside and
mix everything together
until it's nice and fluffy and there you go, there's your
dark chocolate mousse. Add your chocolate Baileys mousse
into a piping bag and then pipe around the cake
until the mixture is finished.
Smooth over the edges with your spatula and then place
the cake into the freezer overnight.
Guys, make sure you subscribe to my channel, it's
free and it makes me so happy! Yay!
And it makes Mila happy too! Next day, loosen the
cake and gently take it out.
And I'm using this beautiful green velvet spray just because
it's Christmas and I
wanted to give it
a more festive look.
If you enjoyed
this video, make
sure to like and subscribe to my channel I will leave the links in the
description box to all the other foodies
that have created similar videos with
their picked charity
and the charity that I picked is really really personal
and close to my heart
and my my grandma babushka that I still really love and
she's the most amazing woman
and I lost her to cancer two years ago she actually
passed away peacefully and not in pain
so I'm really happy about that but it's
it's kind of really really I don't want
to get upset obviously but it's really
personal therefore I decided
to support Cancer UK charity to help those guys to
keep going with the research
and hopefully one day we'll find a cure and
if you do feel like you want to donate
as well make sure to check out my
description box I wanted to encourage everyone to pick a charity this
Christmas and support support them you know we
are very fortunate to have what
we have and be where we
are and so we should help others that are not as
fortunate as us and I really hope that this kind
of festive season will encourage
you as well and thank you so much for staying with me today
Merry Christmas guys Happy New Year I
love you all loads and I'll see you in
my next video bye
