Australian Super Flu and Protection from It

Protection from the Australian "super" flu. This strain of influenza is supposedly particularly nasty and can cause death for those who are frail.
The flu virus spreads by inhaling airborne particles or getting them in your eyes, if you touch a surface with the flu virus on it and then touch your mouth or nose you may be infected that way.
Therefore in hot zones wearing a full face respirator with a good particulate filter on it will protect you from getting the particulates in your eyes or inhaling them and using rubbing alcohol or a similar hand sanitiser will prevent infection from getting the germs on your hands.
I would always recommend P3 filters when using particulate filters, because they offer the greatest level of particle protection, in theory a P1 or P2 filter may block virus particles, but as P3 filters barely cost more than P1 filters and offer a far greater level of protection, I always recommend them more.
