Go Lions and go Mother Nature.
Boy, this great stretch of weather, it continues for another week.
So it looks like heading into Halloween, we're going to be just fine.
Now, remember, over the years, we've had cold Halloweens,
snowy Halloweens, windy, rainy, cold Halloweens.
It doesn't look like this year.
Here's our next weather system coming out of the Rockies.
There is some rain in North Texas, all the way up in the South Dakota.
Certainly a few light showers in the UP right now.
but most of this activity is going to stay off to our west and north.
There were a couple of sprinkles today in the Thumb region.
You'll see them right there, all pretty light stuff.
In fact, clouds are going to start thinning out for a time.
And once again, we've been showing you
these great live shots from downtown.
There's the sunset, and now the sunset has occurred.
So it'll get dark pretty quick,
and temperatures will fall off accordingly.
But look at these daytime highs.
We were close to 70 degrees here today.
How about Traverse City and Mount Pleasant,
a pair of 73s, also warm in Milwaukee at 74.
Look at that, up near the Mackinac Bridge today, near 70 degrees.
It's 65 now. Temperatures will continue to slide for the rest
of the evening with a light breeze and dew points in the 40s.
Right now, most of us are in the low
to mid 60s with a breeze from the south.
It's all pretty light. Look
at these numbers right now, 50 degrees in Marquette.
It's a bit cooler there, 53 Minneapolis,
but look at Springfield, Illinois, 75 at 71 in Chicago.
Yes, it is a bit cooler along the New York State Thruway
from Buffalo to Albany with 57s off to our east.
For us, we cold front passes to our north.
There it is, and there it goes.
The next weather system mostly stays off to our west.
Now, Tuesday will be just a bit cooler
as that warm front will be off to our west.
You'll see it all coming up in the seven-day forecast.
It's quiet this evening.
Once again, there could
be some patchy fog overnight as we get down to 46.
Now, tomorrow, not as bright.
We'll call it mostly cloudy, but still very mild.
Look at Monday, 68 degrees.
Now, temperatures dip just a notch on Tuesday,
62, and then we're moving back up again.
Wednesday, how about Thursday, 73, 73 degrees.
And there's Halloween.
That's next Saturday, 68.
If you're looking for some rain, and we sure could use some,
it's a week from today, Sunday, next Sunday, a few showers in 67.
So very mild pattern, no complaints,
Mother Nature really coming through.
But eventually, Dave and Woody, this pattern's going to break down.
