You know who else is back this week?
Cade Mays, right in the middle of that
offensive line like the Lions imagined
when they signed him as a free agent this offseason.
Woody Wonders with Cade Mays, brought to you by Bill Brown Ford.
This is the cost of being back, Cade.
Thanks a lot, gang.
Down here wondering about a lot of things.
And to help me out is my man, Cade Mays, Lions offensive lineman.
And you know what, Cade?
You know the term pick your poison, right?
That's right.
Okay, so either choice is bad.
So that is what I'm wondering about.
Would you go viral for a bad dance move or a bad singing performance?
Ooh, I'd have to go bad singing.
I feel like the good Lord can't give you all the talents in the world,
so probably bad singing.
I'm not the best singer, so I'll probably do that.
Cold French fries forever or soggy cereal forever?
Pick your poison.
Ooh, probably soggy cereal.
Cold French fries, just don't do it.
Okay.
Have your search history read at dinner
or have your camera's photos displayed on the stadium scoreboard?
Pick your poison.
Ooh.
Probably.
Say it one more time.
Have your search history read at dinner
or have your camera roll posted on the stadium scoreboard.
Oh, definitely search history at dinner.
Okay.
But it depends who the audience is.
But I feel like you've got a much bigger audience in a stadium.
That is true.
Pick your poison here.
You have Coach Campbell read your text messages
or have your mom read your scouting report.
Probably mom read the scouting report.
Yeah, that's pretty good.
Yeah.
I don't think that's poisonous at all.
All right.
Would you play a game in clown shoes or wear roller skates to practice?
Pick your poison.
Ooh.
Clown shoes.
Probably roller skates to practice.
Pick your poison here.
Tackled by your own teammate or stiff-armed by a teammate?
Probably tackled.
Okay.
Give up cheese or give up bacon?
Pick your poison.
Cheese, for sure.
Cheese, for sure.
Absolutely.
Okay.
Final one here.
Be the star of a terrible reality show
or be the villain in a popular one?
Pick your poison.
Villain in a popular one.
Villain in a popular one.
You see?
villain you could hand out poisoning there you go poison
the hero there you go not bad hey a lot of
heroes down here we'll send it back
to you all right woody thank you very much look here's the
thing for the lions birchie they now have
the offensive line they thought they were going to
have all offseason and they got
to be excited about seeing those guys play together their
offseason plan was centered on Cade Mays
and i know Juice Scruggs played well in his stead but
it's always been their vision
that their best five up front features Cade Mays in the middle
and the sooner they can bring that vision to life
so that it's at peak capacity come November
December January the better
and I'll say this for Cade Mays he fits their prototype as a big
bodied center who can anchor in pass protection
and for everything that Scruggs did well that's
not quite his strength it is Cade Mays's
and look Dan said we signed this guy for a reason in other
words we didn't give him 25 million dollars to wait his turn
and they also want to be at peak
capacity before next week when the Vikings come
in Amen always good to have you on again that's the reason
Dan Campbell said he feels better
at 3-2 this year
than at 5-2 last
year because they feel like their offensive
line is forming. Can they get to 4-2?
That's the question.
Win over the Packers would do that
today. You'll see this one on Fox 2 later
this afternoon. We're getting you ready for it
from the Detroit City Distillery.
