Pm Modi at Varanasi's Air Force Day 2026: “Wings over Ganges” Aerial Display | News18

Varanasi is set to host the Indian Air Force Day Aerial Display 2026 at Namo Ghat, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to witness the programme as Chief Guest. Held under the theme “Wings Over Ganges,” the event will commemorate the 94th anniversary of the Indian Air Force.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are also present for the programme, bringing together senior national and state leadership for the occasion.

The aerial display places the Indian Air Force's aviation capabilities in the spotlight against the backdrop of the Ganga in Varanasi. The theme “Wings Over Ganges” connects the celebration of India's air power with one of the country's most recognisable cultural and historic landscapes.
