Well, I just did a bow drill
and I got a coal in about 10-20 seconds without cutting a notch
It just formed on the side here. I can see where the the bass
The baseboard is is charred. I'm using basswood.
The only thing I did differently is the spindle
I've never used a spindle before it's a piece of
off of this here and
I don't know what it is, but it's like one
of those shrubby things that comes back every year like
something like a milkweed or a mullein
but there's no pit in it and it's really really hard I'll show
