James Kaufman, World News Report today.
Chinese special operators bus
is infiltrating South Texas at the border.
We've got a video of the entire bust.
These people are on the list, if you will.
Complete special operations group, a group of six
that had infiltrated another group of about 14 people.
And, ladies and gentlemen, this should scare you to the very soul.
Now, there are plenty of links if y'all want
to know more about the basics.
The Texas Department of Public Safety, or DPS,
uncovered 20 illegal immigrants hidden inside a truck tractor
during an Operation Lone Star traffic stop in Webb County, Texas.
On Monday, May 18th, it's taken, well,
10 days, just after 6 p.m. in the evening,
Department of Public Safety trooper conducted
a traffic stop on a white Volvo 18-wheeler headed north.
Ladies and gentlemen,
he got a little bit more than he expected on that shipment.
only 28 miles into the U.S.
Mile marker 28.
During the stop, the driver attempted to flee on foot,
but was immediately arrested.
The search of the Volvo revealed 20 illegal immigrants
concealed in the truck tractor's sleeper area.
The driver, Miguel Angel Velazquez Chavez, 25,
A Mexican national was charged with evading arrest
and a smuggling of persons.
He was booked in the Webb County Jail.
There were four minors from Mexico
and Guatemala within the truck trailer itself.
But that's not the big deal.
The big deal is it turns out they found
eight special operations Chinese soldiers
in full fatigues within the truck or trailer.
These people are on the U.S. Border Patrol watch list,
and that, I don't understand,
all male and all in full army fatigues here.
Texas' DPS referred to them as on a list of what they called
Special Operations Units members from China.
That's correct.
That should scare the pants out of all of us, right?
Here is the stop
Boy, that doesn't look like I-35
I-35 is up on the right there
They know they've been
God. Look at this
Everyone stopped.
And remember, there goes
the driver. They have canines
as necessary
This is where the officers figured that they
were not dealing with regular Mexican
and Central American, well, C7.
News 12 would just block in the view
of the special operators in full fatigues just behind them.
They came a long way to be busted by Texas Department of Public Safety,
the real heroes out there on the roads.
In border security language and law enforcement language,
a person of special interest alien, or SIA,
is a designation for a non-U.S. national from a country with conditions
that may pose potential national security risks to the United States.
These individuals were particularly interesting because of their ages,
their backgrounds, and, well,
what they were carrying and how they were dressed.
Period.
Unbelievable.
Walking right into the U.S.
Some trooper at mile marker 28 north got lucky.
God bless the troopers out there.
