James Kaufman, World News Report Today. Why does the Trump administration continue to lie about a peace deal with Iran? This is a question that must have a good answer, but it is true, period. Every person spoken to from Iran says that there will be no peace deal ever if enriched uranium has to be given up to make peace with America. Not only that, but Iran has successfully started a toll booth in the Straits of Hormuz and helped over 35 ships who paid their toll through the Straits with the U.S. Navy doing nothing in the last 48 hours. What can the U.S. Navy do? They can't start blowing other countries' ships out of the water just because they want to close the straits. It's all about keeping the straits open, right? Again, Iran says, quote-unquote, no deal will materialize, and this is today, if the U.S. insists on enriched uranium handover. And this is according to everyone within the negotiations. Even Iran's foreign minister says no deal will be reached if the U.S. makes enriched uranium handover demand. That's according to Al Jazeera. Rubio keeps acting like they're close to a peace deal with Iran. Nothing can be any further from the truth. But why is he doing this is the question. It is my opinion that Trump needed this time, this ceasefire, He's weeks to rearm his ships and aircraft and to help Israel rearm their equipment as well. Obviously, we've been giving out our munitions to the Ukraine for four years now. We were already somewhat low. That was to begin with. And we all know how many missiles have been fired. Here in the U.S., 74 new factories have opened in the last 30 days. And they are making missiles 24-7. They're being built and shipped overseas. By that, I mean all day, every minute of the day. There will be one last effort today as delegations are on the way to try to, one last time, create a peace deal between the U.S. and Iran. But it is really just a waste of everyone's time or a way to buy a little bit more time. Iran has indicated that it will also start to bomb other countries surrounding the Middle East, i.e. Western Europe, if the ceasefire does not hold, which means this conflict is about to blow up big time. With that said, we all know there is zero chance the U.S. will get the enriched uranium, even if they put boots on the ground, which would be a complete slaughter for American troops. Already today, Iranian parliament members have threatened preemptive military actions if preparations and or movements by U.S. forces indicate that they might be getting ready to strike. Even if it's just perceived, Trump has really two options on the table. One is to retreat in shame, which I don't think his ego will allow. And two, even worse, a heavy bombing campaign followed by American troops on the ground, which again will get us nowhere closer to any enriched uranium, but will provide a huge bloodbath for American soldiers.
