Morning Fog, Improving Afternoon

37 degrees officially in Romulus as we take a live look over there toward Belle Isle. Still a little bit of fog in the area. Winds out of the north on the light side. For us, let's check the visibility numbers. Well, they've improved somewhat over there in Port Huron with no concerns at all with fog there. But look at Lapeer and Pontiac and Howell. Visibility still pretty low. Eight-mile visibility in the city, so that's not too bad. Let's check some numbers for you as well. 37 in Howell, Lapeer in the same. Temperatures in the 40s, a little bit farther on down to the south, down River 45, Monroe, Ypsilanti. We have to use that number instead of Ann Arbor. They're having some problems with their reporting station there. 44 degrees and currently right around 40 in Pontiac as well as in Mount Clemens. Things are quiet for us. There's satellite and radar composite showing we don't have any rain to deal with, though there is a weak front on off there to our west. You can see a lot of the cloud cover associated with it trying to move over Lake Michigan as we go throughout the afternoon and evening hours, ending up over there toward Grand Rapids, Idlewild. For us, again, a few more clouds trying to encroach, trying to move in as we get into Sunday morning. But we'll call it a mix of sun and clouds as we move through the day on Sunday with some drier conditions as well. Here's your raking forecast for you. No excuses when it's on the light side. Dry conditions as well. Get up in and get those leaves up, though. They're not finished. 65 for the afternoon high today. Still looking for about 45 degrees overnight. And that's not too bad as we look ahead at your extended forecast. Temps for tomorrow, about 68 degrees. Not bad at all. Starting off the work week, 66. Then the front comes through, drops those numbers to just 58 for the daytime high. But they rebound as we head toward the end of the week. Next chance for rain so far on Friday.
