-- 1 stick fire, 3 times the prep

Alright, so here's my entry for Jay Williams' contest.
I've got three big thumb size, three pencil size,
three pencil lead size, and my hat is
more than full.
You'll just have to take my word that
there's three times the prep in there.
I've got a birch bark base and little shavings.
Can you just videotape me doing it?
Is
this
circle
in the
back
my
zoom?
I'm not sure.
Zoom is on top.
Oh, okay.
So I used cedar
this time,
the white cedar,
Thuja occidentalis.
I thought it was going to be easier,
it actually turns out it was very knotty and extremely
hard to do.
It was a new wood
though and it was
cool to be able
to try it out.
Sustained fire going, it'll pick up in a second.
I've got still two, two, and two,
and a hat full still of shavings.
Thanks Jay for the opportunity.
