Lakes running backs Toetu Moliga, Korben Reed discuss 3A PSL Nisqually title win over Peninsula
Oct 24, 2026
22 Maliga, Corbin Reed.
First of all, fellas, 3A PSL Nisqually champs.
How'd it feel to be able to get it done here tonight?
Yeah, it feels good. We worked so hard to be where we're at now,
so it feels good when the hard work pays off.
Yeah, what he said. It feels great.
Third time winning it. Nothing new. It feels great.
A lot of drama and strangeness in the last couple of minutes.
What do you make of the way this game just ended?
It's all adapting to it, so you know,
we know what type of game it was going to be, but you know,
we just, we came, we brung our best, and you know, we won.
Yes, sir.
22, how does it feel to be back on the field?
You missed a little stretch here,
but you guys kind of got this one-two punch going again.
It feels great. I mean, itching to come out here and play.
It feels good to be back with my guys.
Yes, sir.
Yeah, playoffs.
You guys are kind of a Thunder-Lightning type of combo, right?
You guys got a nickname for yourselves,
and how would you kind of describe the way you guys?
Yeah, there we go.
Just kind of a sleepy first half,
but then you guys come out pretty hot in
the second half.
What do you have to do to just kind of turn it on in the second half?
I wish we could just like come out in the game and just dominate.
But you know, it's a new environment,
it's cold, we just really just bounce back and
just think about how we can do better.
Yeah, talk about how to start, about how to finish.
You guys get a bye next week and
Hopefully kind of get some guys back heading into the playoffs.
How are you guys feeling heading into the postseason?
I feel like we're going to overcome.
People say we're going to get first round, but I don't believe that.
I feel like we can make it to state.
Postseason, let's go.
Yes, sir.
