2027 NFL Mock Draft with TRADES | Chargers make a BIG move?!
Oct 24, 2026
Today, we begin our three round 2027 NFL mock draft with trades.
Let's get right into this.
If you guys are new, feel free to like,
comment, subscribe, just like the real draft.
It's going to be split up into two days.
Day one today is round one, and then tomorrow,
day two is rounds two and three.
Let's get into this.
Blow my face to my board.
Based solely on all 22.
If you want to see the full board, every single eval,
an extended list of every single winner
and loser from every single week of college football,
go and check out the Patreon, five
bucks a month and i'm dropping
my quarterback rankings tomorrow in on the Patreon which will
be early in the day it's a top 18
when we bring it to YouTube which might be tomorrow might be
on Saturday and most likely will be it'll end up being only a top 10
so go and check it out we have
over 100 almost 150 people right now currently off the top of my head
so go join i love y'all
let's get into this number one overall we have
the Los Angeles Chargers gotta support the NFL
stock exchange mock draft simulator i know you guys
are saying hey mock draft database their
their thing their bar is super small you can't see jack
this is a much better layout and i talked
with Trevor Sycamore and he
and i ended up being able to make a creator account for this it'll end
up being activated soon where i can end up putting
our own Hail Mary Sports branding and colors on
there uh you guys get to see I am Hail Mary Sports over
on this especially when they hopefully end up
adding a walk the mock type
of feature maybe we can end up doing some collaborative mock drafts
there let's get into this though Los Angeles Chargers
are sitting at number one the question
is do you go Jeremiah Smith
or do you go for a team that's like let's go balls to the wall
and give the Chargers franchise changing draft capital part
of me wants to go bat ---- and have
the Philadelphia Eagles move up to one for Jeremiah Smith
because that's just something
Philly would probably try to do but Philly has enough
of their own issues let me know what you
guys think of that if Philly loses this week
and they're like sitting top five top four i would
probably pull the trigger
on that however we're gonna go Jeremiah Smith here at number one
i don't think that there's much to gain by having
that big of a trade down unless you really got
essentially life-changing money
so to speak in terms of draft capital for a monstrous player
and i don't think Jeremiah Smith for teams
that i would look to trade up would end up returning a
positive investment for them
and for the Chargers getting a true number one is still very very much
a priority if your goal is to elevate Herbert
to the best visibility give him the best shot to do
so which we say that every single year
but it is what it is Indiana's coming off a very narrow loss
to Ohio State and I think that's going to leave
a sour taste in their mouth this coming week they
are playing Michigan who is having a quarterback debacle
and I think it is a time for an easy
victory if we check it out over on Kalshi Michigan has
a 29% chance to win this game which
I think is ludicrously high
and this is a peer-to-peer market which is why you can take
advantage of these odds I think this is a perfect opportunity
to select Indiana to win this game if
you did put $25 down on this position
which if you use the code HMS or make it easy click the link in
the description you'll get your $25 back into your account instantly
but on top of that you'll get 30
additional dollars because of my boys over
at Kalshi giving us a limited time deal but that
ends up giving you $33.60 if you end up seeing Indiana win
and let's just say Michigan pulls
off the impossible. You end up getting $30 net positive.
So if you do the math and Indiana takes
the W for $25 in, you end up getting 3360 plus 55.
Quick maths, that's roughly $90. That's a great
return for something that seems pretty dang probable.
And if all else fails, you still get
30. So go and check it out. Again, Kalshi is peer to peer markets.
So the opinions of people are
what drive these factors. If the opinions change,
you'll see the numbers change. You want to take
advantage of it go check it out right now
the dolphins sit here at number two overall a rule
we are going to have is that Arch Manning returns
to school austin simmons will be returning as well
so these are the two qbs um technically drake lindsey
and julian sam but i mean if i'm going
to be honest i wouldn't draft either of them either
in this because of the fact that a high
probability of return but b most importantly i
don't think they're pro ready but regardless for
the Dolphins, Mestemaker highly, highly likely is going to come out.
The nice thing about the
Dolphins is there is a long pathway to success.
Now, do I think that you need to pull the trigger
on Mestemaker at this point?
No, you could just go Leonard Moore and continue building up the best
players available. And maybe that doesn't end up being such
a bad option, but it is very difficult
to play the QB game. If you want to target one here,
I think that you could try to throw a curve
ball because I think the Titans would go after Mestemaker
at three. And if Titans are going to
go after Mestemaker at three,
I do think the Jets could try to move up into this range. The problem
is you're dealing with the Dolphins.
Eagles also could very easily, if they're going to try to look
at Mestemaker as a QB of the future,
make their respective move up to two. Oh, that'd be fun.
I think I'm going to hold off until next week
to pull the trigger on that. But I think I'm going
to pull the trigger on Philadelphia moving up
and taking Drew Mustaine. For the time being,
Mesty looks like a top-tier quarterback that needs a year to sit
and get a little bit more
acclimated to the NFL. I personally want him to go back to college,
but we're going to have him
selected here at number two overall.
Number three, the Tennessee Titans are on the board, and
luckily, this is a really elite tackle class.
I used to be like, go tackle early, often. You'll
never regret it maybe you will if you bust on a tackle
but I pause to puff the **** uh but number
three I think that you go after players that you can't get anytime else
and Leonard Moore is as
close to the g-tier for corners as you're going
to get the only problem is I don't think he's an
elite athlete but that's like the one limitation
and that hasn't really been a major issue for
corners like Pat Sertan
who was running 4-4-4 he wasn't in the running the four threes I mean
still a good athlete and I think Leonard Moore might
be a hair slower but still I'm going to
end up going after the best player available Leonard Moore goes
at number three overall
number four the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Trev's team they're sitting here
and I'm looking and I do
think Colin Simmons is the top option here I would
also like to toss in linebacker Chris Cole
Chris Cole is, in my opinion, better than Arvel Reese,
better than Sonny Styles, arguably.
And that's pretty ballsy to say,
but I really think that he at least at the very minimum
competes with them.
And they went at five and seven, respectively.
So I do think the Buccaneers,
who could utilize Chris Cole off the edge, use him as a blitzing
backer, and then, of course,
pairing him up with a heavy Mike and Trotter, you do have
a lot of versatility that you are limited
on if you end up pulling the trigger on Colin
Simmons.
So I do think that there is some extra value
to Chris Cole that a lot of people don't think
about because Chris Cole could be the third best,
could be the second best edge rusher
in the class, and he is a pure linebacker who takes reps at edge.
He is phenomenal and ridiculous speed.
They say 4'6".
That's the most BS number I've ever seen on a projected 40.
Chris Cole is going to be a superstar.
I'm going to go after the best player available,
and that is Chris Cole.
Number five, Washington Commanders are sitting here,
and you look at the players, the best
available, I still think that Collin Simmons could be the best.
The Commanders could be in a position
with Terry McLaurin tearing his patellar tendon
to move back and still get top-tier talent.
Granted, I would be worried about
the Eagles going after Charlie Baker at this point.
Charlie Baker is a boundary receiver
who has shown an elevation to his route running ability
that we don't usually see from players
who don't really show it on a rep by rep basis
the past game versus Ohio State showed a new level
of change of direction that I didn't think he had
already has the speed has the best hands arguably
that we have seen now granted drop rate is not the
most stable metric maybe it won't be one to one
but I do think that if you end up letting him
slide to seven like there is an element of this offense
that will be looking for a heavy contested
catch threat and Dontavian Wicks I love him
to death for the Eagles I don't necessarily think
it would stop them from going after someone
who is a bigger reliable contested catch target who
has the deep speed that was what Jalen's bread
and butter is is taking those deep shots for players
that actually can make it those plays
so if I'm the commanders I'm scared shitless of the idea
the Philadelphia Eagles getting the most reliable receiver
that we have seen in a minute we're gonna
go Charlie Baker there at number five overall number six
for the New York Jets a very intriguing
spot I do wonder if the Eagles have the option
to get CJ Carr there at seven if they pull the
trigger I don't think I can take the I can roll
the dice if I'm the Jets personally I think the
Jets are one of the most underappreciated offenses
in the rosters I should say in the whole entire
league they have a completed offensive line
for the most part except for on the interior the
offensive line where there's a lot of rotation
in every part every part of the league essentially
it's one of the easier positions to get something
to be able to fill it they have two elite tackles
they have a really strong receiving core I think they're
a dream destination for a young quarterback
to step in and elevate
so we're going to get him here CJ Carr quarterback out of Notre Dame
at number six and he is very very close
in my opinion to Drew Metcalf I think CJ Carr is
a completely different profile Metcalf
is going to be more of the high ceiling dangerous
type of like true franchise ceiling prospect CJ Carr
is going to be that reliable I mean I don't
want to say like Brock Purdy because Purdy is he's a game changer
but you're talking about someone
with some limited upside that will still be able
to maximize opportunities and I think it's what
CJ Carr does and it's what I think would be the best
for the Jets the Eagles sit here at number
seven and you have Colin Simmons here it's kind
of hard to pass up on it it's what the Eagles have
done best they sit they sit and pick
or they make moves like small arranged moves i know that the
biggest issues on this team are interior offensive line
which i'm not going to be drafting here
you can look at boundary corner two
which is a blessing to be able to take at this spot
safety especially but i'm not going to need
to pull the trigger on one here like the goal is
you could try to trade back. Like, can we do that?
And the real answer is no. Like, you can try to
trade with the Cardinals.
They can move up for like a Colin Simmons, for example, and, you know,
try to play the sexy game there with their second round picks,
like maybe do a little bit of a swap
here. But if I'm the Eagles and I do that,
Colin Simmons and Dylan Stewart might be the next couple
selections. And, you know, there is the risk of that.
If we want to play it out just to be like,
let's let's test the the theory out the Jets
are sitting here maybe they go after a corner like I
do think of strong boundary corners still
on the horizon for the Jets granted Azariah Thomas
I have a lot of faith in him
but at that point I don't think that it's off the table for a team
like the Browns to try to make a move up for a very unique pass rusher
and Dylan Stewart I just
don't really think that there's there's not a good return
on investment to make this move back and I
know how he likes to do his little deals
but honestly don't mind the fact that we're sitting
in this spot Colin Simmons is the most high floor edge rusher
that you can ask for there's no
production coming out of this edge core
and it's just BPA like we do have multiple picks to go on
in the next couple days so technically the next day
so i think that we're going to be perfectly
fine we're going BPA Colin Simmons edge rusher out
of Texas take the floor option who has just
been so consistent year over year.
You don't need to take somebody who is also going to be another
basket case. There is just that variability
that Dylan Stewart could just be somebody who is
absolutely insane, but, you know,
still kind of worth taking a shot on if you can. The Texans
are sitting here at pick number eight,
and I'm thinking that you just go Dylan Stewart at this
point. This is a roster. This is an organization
that has consistently gone after the best talent
around and they haven't really gone after need
and then when they have you look at you know Rutledge
I don't really think they
do it right like I personally don't didn't like Rutledge Rutledge
has been taking a little bit of a longer growth curve than expected
but this is a team that prides
itself on having the best edge duo in the NFL why
not supercharge that with Dylan Stewart on a five
year contract to have great mentorship I mean tell me
that's not overpowered as **** like you need to
have an identity and the identity has always
been the defense you're hoping CJ Stroud could kind of
be the identity in the offensive side
but Dylan Stewart being available at eight you pull the
trigger on that and you have amazing mentorship
with two superstar edge rushers on top of that
this gives you a much cheaper option
at edge two once Daniel Hunter is out number nine we have the
New York Jets back on the clock
their first selection can you end up looking at like this
Yes, CJ Carr, quarterback at Notre Dame.
Love the way that that's laid out, by the way.
We're not having any trades in this range.
I do think that, honestly,
Jordan Seaton on interior wouldn't be the worst idea.
He's gotten a little bit too skinny, in my opinion,
and can't handle speed to power from
range.
He does a really good job versus interior defensive lineman,
but I will say I think
his play has pushed him out of my top 10 for that reason.
I just didn't worry about him at the weight he
is handling NFL power from range.
Like you're talking about wide nine.
I really worry.
And it's tough for tackles to absorb a 250 pound,
260 pound edge rusher running full
speed.
But the fact that Jordan Seaton loses
at that consistent of a rate at that range, it does
bug me a little bit if I'm being completely fair.
So if I'm going to look at another corner,
that's very similar to what Azariah Thomas
is.
I'm looking at Ashton Hampton, who's a big, heavy, physical corner.
And you can end up having those two
and D'Angelo Pons as the three young, long-term options.
I personally really like that.
Granted, we want to look and, you know,
the Cardinals are sitting here at 10.
The Browns might want to make
a move up just to select their quarterback.
Remember, Austin Simmons, Arch Manning, not in this class.
Might not be a bad idea.
I don't think you lose anything if you're the Jets,
and you have a lot to gain if you're the Browns.
So we are going to be making a small trade, the Cleveland Browns.
Ooh, we're going to build an offer.
But, okay, they say Ellis Robinson addresses a need.
Holy ----.
You know, when we do seven rounders, we'll take a look at that.
That definitely is something that is a very intriguing option.
But we are going to end up talking about the Cleveland Browns here.
It's a 100-point differential.
um you know i personally think that you know pick 92 would
be what i would ask in return especially
with this rate like you look at a second one
in a second like i'd want a third round pick to just
move up those spots i don't think that's out of the blue
and they have a lot of picks overall in
this draft so we're gonna end up forcing
this on through we end up making it oh we got a little
ding as well uh we're gonna have
the cleveland browns jump the arizona cardinals for their
selection at QB. You don't want to have sloppy seconds.
If you spend a third round pick to get
what you truly want, that is the goal.
And Darian Menza, Trinidad Chambliss, you can argue between
the two, but in my opinion,
Trinidad has shown a little bit more of the ability to step up in big
moments versus big teams.
Darian Menza still hasn't really had that true test. And so even
though I have Menza slightly higher than Trinidad Chambliss,
the overall play style works a
phenomenally well with his mobility in a Munkin system.
And again, we're not having Manning or
Simmons in this. Otherwise, it would have stayed put.
We're going to go having Trinidad Chambliss
go at number nine. The Cardinals easily could end
up targeting Trinidad Chambliss. And maybe I would
have went Menza because they have a longer road to go.
But honestly, if I'm the Browns, I'm not
rolling the dice on that.
I have a quarterback that fits my system significantly better than
Darian Menza, and I'm not going to let the opportunity slip past
because we want to end
up having some gamesmanship here.
But the Cardinals are sitting here at pick ten and
they could try to move down.
I'm looking at teams that are looking at a QB. I guess the Falcons are
lurking pretty close.
If Menza slips to their spot, do they end up trying to wheel and deal
away Michael Penix for a team that's probably trying
to be a little bit more one and done than
necessarily having. I don't think they'd have restraint, I would say.
So I think we do have
to stick and pick here. Offensive tackle
is a very deep class. We're pulling the trigger on
Darian Menza, quarterback out of Miami.
No trades except for at number nine in the top 10. So we're
back with the Jets. I talked about it earlier.
We're going to go after the corner position.
I personally love Azaria Thomas, we'll click
on this right here um so we'll look at the defensive
side I shout out to B Steve by the way love Brandon Stevens
um he is somebody who like I
got to see coming uh being a pause uh being
a college student at SMU I got to see a lot of B
Steve but I'm looking at the depth here Quantez
Diggs, Nashawn Wright I'm not necessarily fully
locked in and there is corner rotation
that absolutely needs to happen guys need to stay
healthy and i personally think there is a one-year growth
that Ashton Hampton will need to do to
operate properly in the NFL
so we're going to have a boundary corner core of Ashton Hampton
as well as Azaria Thomas and a nickel of D'Angelo Ponds
and that's going to be just a nasty
dangerous trio number 12 the New Orleans Saints are sitting here
and i'm debating honestly on
looking at Jordan Seton just to put him on the inside
with the tackle upside. So we end up looking
at their offensive line. You got Banks and Fulwaga,
obviously, but on the interior of the offensive
line, they could use some help
and they do like having tackle guard flexibility. I might just
stick in Louisiana, go Jordan Seton here and kind of call it a day.
Now, other positions I'd be
willing to target. Again, you look at Ellis Robinson.
I think it's a great choice. I personally
think that you could even look
at Goosby you know he ends up you can end up putting Fuwaka to guard
and you solve your issue there
but I do think that Seton being right down the road is a nice
little curveball I always go after certain picks for this team
and you know I get aggressive here
and there I want to go after something
a little different we're gonna have Jordan Seton go and
play guard in the short run and then they'll end up feeling out
who should be able to be the long
term tackle. At number 12,
I think the fact that there's tackle upside would make a lot of sense
too. If you want to go after Goosby, feel free to do so.
But we're throwing the curveball with
Jordan Seton there in the first round.
Number 13 for the New York Jets. Again, not a team I'd want
to go after Jordan Seton for just
because of the fact that there's no upside as a tackle. But we've
gone after a corner. We've gone after quarterback.
I don't think that wide receiver is a big need
for the Jets personally I think interior offensive line absolutely
is you look at the tackles the
next one I would go for interior probably Samson Okunlola
but again I feel that you should respect
the uh the interior the offensive line
and especially the ones that tackle it's like you
should have upside to be a tackle I do wonder
if Greg Johnson would slip past 16 I just don't
think he would because I think it's a perfect fit
for Seattle we're gonna go Greg Johnson a guard
out of Minnesota here at 13, also some center hybrid flexibility.
So we got ourselves a high
tier corner, high tier guard and a high tier quarterback.
Number 14, we have the Atlanta
Falcons and we have kind of sniped away all of the QBs again,
Arch Manning, Austin Simmons
returning in this. So we're down to Dante Moore
and I'm not pulling the trigger on Dante Moore
here at 14. I do wonder, honestly,
boundary corner Ellis Robinson doesn't sound like the
worst thing on planet earth the value
is impeccable there we look at the nickelback you have Avion
Terrell we love that but i mean we got Mike Hughes
on the boundary i don't know how long term of an
option that is and maybe we can use
that as an opportunity to get Ellis Robinson up to speed
we love our Georgia boys and we're going
to continue the trend we're going Ellis Robinson
the fourth cornerback out of Georgia there
at 14 at 15 for the Las Vegas Raiders well
Xavier Gilliam's getting a lot of love I just ended up giving him
a full grade today I personally
don't see the stability of Xavier Gilliam he feels very similar
to Walter Nolan a lot of
athleticism but personally I think Walter Nolan had
a lot better hand technique Xavier Gilliam
watch his Alabama game especially some bad balance here he's
on the ground quite a bit but then he'll
have these random reps where he's like you'll look at him
and like that's an elite hoop drill
Like you will see him as like, holy ----,
you can you can turn the corner, but he's on the ground a lot, too.
So I do worry about him coming in immediately for the Las Vegas Raiders
at number 15 and being the impact that you're looking for.
I do like the idea of Cam Coleman.
Granted, you look at the teams down the line.
I don't think Seattle's out of the out of the radar,
so to speak, for Cam Coleman.
like he would end up being a really solid reliable receiver
for the Seahawks and because I ended up
taking Greg Johnson probably is what I would lean
to if I am the Seahawks so if I'm the Raiders I
might not want to play games I mean you could end up trying
to trade down getting Reed Harris or
something like that but I still really have a lot
of faith in Cam Coleman especially if he ends up
slimming down back to his original weight
at Auburn to be a really really good receiver so
We're going to go Cam Coleman,
wide receiver out of Texas for the Raiders.
16 for the Seahawks.
Really good players, still available.
Got lots of love for a lot of these dudes.
There's no shame in guys slipping a little bit.
But with the Bengals coming up, there is a need at boundary corner too.
Granted, I wouldn't toss it past the Seahawks.
Getting rid of Job versus Kelly Jones.
This is Tariq Woolen 2.0.
essentially he's going to be in the 4-4 range
at 6 foot 4 195 like we've seen that on the Seahawks
before and you look at the corner core it's like what we got Spoon
but then we got Jobe and it's
like I like Pritchett Pritchett's
been good I mean I can't I don't want to dog ---- on on Pritchett
Pritchett's been very good
but I don't trust year-to-year consistency from flashing corners
consistent high tier corners
is a different story Julian Neal big fan of his game as well
but I just don't really see him having
the true upside as a top end corner one so you end up
looking at the roster and looking at what they need
the best I honestly don't mind the idea of
getting a proven skill set for this system Tariq
was just a little too inconsistent and he had some
screws loose Kelly Jones does not seem to have that problem
and I do think the Bengals the Ravens
you talk about the Giants
and Panthers all these teams the Lions especially all of them are going
be looking for a top tier corner.
And I do think it's a position you guys should target. Bring
Kelly Jones, their cornerback out of Mississippi State
for the Seahawks. Number 17 for the
Cincinnati Bengals. I sadly,
I cannot look at the corner position for y'all, but I do like the idea
of going after the left tackle spot.
Granted Goosby is here and Zero Way Williams is here.
Part of me thinks Lance Hurd's the type of player
that is in y'all's heart. Lance Hurd's been
fantastic this year but the thing is you have
to go after a heavy offensive tackle I do think that
this is an opportunity and there's a risk to the fact
that the Bengals don't like to trade around
much um but there is there's a lot of value
in trading down now Goosby will raise some eyebrows
Zero Way Williams will raise some eyebrows
but both of them don't have the physical profile that
I'm looking for in a tackle
for the Bengals specifically it's Caden Green or Lance Hurd
and I'm getting a lot of people
who are taking Lance Hurd in their top 20 so I'm going to end
up going after a little bit of a curveball here we're going
to Lance Hurd tackle out of Kentucky
there at 17 at 18 for the Baltimore Ravens honestly it's probably
a good trade down spot
you have Goosby available not a bad option
for the Ravens to have a long-term option next to
Stan like to replace Stanley
but there's no short-term capabilities for him zero way Williams
can play guard in the short run he's 305 pounds
and granted he might be a little more than that but
I think there is a strong chance
that he ends up being around that weight and he has great
mobility he'd work very well in a Declan Doyle type of system
so I wouldn't I wouldn't count
out Zero Way Williams as a tackle here I think
that there's a legit opportunity for him to shine
but what i do know is that Mark Andrews is not good
and i love and i mean i love my wait they
have just Josh Quayvis on here
um i'm forgetting like they they have some good tight ends i like
in the depth but Josh Quayvis as well should
not be your tight end two in my opinion we're going
Jamari Johnson tight end out of Oregon here BPA he
is an elite tight end who can be an inline as
well as a slot he's a true hybrid that belongs
on the line like he really plays well from the
slot but he is truly someone who can fit
and be comfortable on the line of scrimmage so I'm going
to end up taking him there for the Ravens 19
for the Giants what's up with tackle being everybody's
biggest need for this team
if I'm being completely honest JC Davis really shown out Francis Maui
Noah should be moving to tackle
in the near future I personally think the interior of the
offensive line is more of an issue than anything
so I am fully on board with that granted I'm
looking at the options here you do see Jaden Baugh falling
with Trevor Goosby slipping up here
I do think a team that's looking
at offensive line could absolutely be getting aggressive here
the Cowboys could be I mean I do think
their right tackle spot should be addressed
I mean are there teams from range I don't think
so they're going to be moving up for an offensive
tackle but like I think the Panthers
at the very minimum are going to get an absolute steal
here but for the Giants specifically I don't think
running back I mean running back is not the worst
position to target at this point they did bring in Najee Harris
and cut his ass like it is a position
they could try to target
but I will say they're going to probably target a freak athlete here
Xavier Gilliam this is the range
that he probably should go I have him in my 35 to 40 range currently
but that's just because of the inconsistency
the athleticism will get him drafted in the top 20
and it's a good spot for him to go number 20
the Carolina Panthers I'm pulling this trigger
instantly Trevor Goosby tackle out
of Texas I think he's a very very good tackle and the
Carolina Panthers I personally wouldn't stick around
and look at Icky as something long-term
I wouldn't look at Moten
as something long-term you got Freeling you get Goosby go BPA and don't
for just don't look back Goosby
is a great tackle very similar archetype as well to Freeling last
year currently my tackle one
but we'll see you know how much I want to weigh some of the run
blocking stuff number 21 the Detroit Lions
are sitting here corner has been taken safety is
available and honestly it's probably the route I want to go
but I don't really think I need to
force it here at 21 can try to make a trade here
with a team that is looking at offensive line as
well if possible we already kind of went through this already
though the sad thing is like you do
have Will Echols here and I love Will Echols
Xavier Gilliam's probably gonna go above Will
Echols because Will has had one splash game Xavier's just tweaking 24-7
but I think the
Lions will end up just sticking
and picking KJ Bolden's a superstar I mean multi-year starter
who has just been so reliable I have a lot
of love for KJ Bolden I'm fine with it Steelers
sitting here at 22 i'm actually pulling
the trigger on Will Echols here we just love the
trenches i don't think that there's going
to be a talent here outside of Jayden Ball that i would
end up putting up against Will Echols
so i mean i'm talking about top 15 player for me Cam Hayward
should hang up the cleats sometime soon hopefully
we end up having Harman and uh we end up having
Benton and Echols being a reliable trio for us going forward
so we're going to go after BPA there
with Will Echols number 23
the Denver Broncos we've already taken the top end tight end off
the board top end linebacker off the board we're
not really seeing another true first round option
so it is a bad spot in my opinion for the Broncos granted i
do think that investing the offensive
line's important I would almost target zero way Williams put him
at guard in the short run because
Bo Nix not the shortest guy on planet earth
so six foot eight guard gonna be annoying but you
do have now a contingency plan at tackle now Cade Peepers could just
be like hey we're going BPA but
he doesn't really fit the archetype that you guys go
for granted I do think Cade and Green deserves
some real love here because you can slide him
in short term on the interior end up kicking him to
tackle in the long run. And you know what?
I'm going to do that. Caden Green, guard out of
Missouri. Future tackle out of Missouri.
The tackles are getting older. I like having that
contingency plan in place. New England Patriots, number 24.
How funny would it be for Zero Way
Williams to be drafted and end up starting at left tackle
and have Lomu at right? It's like,
yeah, bring him back.
Don't know how the hell Lomu started over Zero Way Williams.
that blows my mind but it is what it
is but for the Patriots specifically you look at best player
available like Jaden Baugh here I don't know what else we can like kind
of justify with him falling
except for some injury red flags he's
a stud probably could go a lot higher than this could
have went probably to the Steelers
and you know earliest I would have probably taken him based on
the draft order I mean like I mean if the Eagles end up trading away
but I mean just like if they
do fire sale there's way bigger needs
and technically the earliest could be number five
if he ends up like getting back to full health
but I do think we need to go after Jaden Baugh
just not to the Patriots I would end up making a move with another team
and personally I think
the Vikings got to get aggressive here it's AFC
to NFC the Vikings want to get up there they want
to get their guy I always I always skimp
y'all Vikings fans on a good running back and this is
my opportunity to get it back for you.
This will end up being a pretty short range trade. I feel
very comfortable with the 124 here.
So it's 744 total, like the late third round pick. And maybe
you guys can end up squeezing some value back,
but you guys have a ton of it as it is. We're
going to force the trade through.
The Vikings make a move up and they draft Jaden Baugh running back
out of Florida. Again, limited top speed could very,
very easily make this a realistic range
for him but i think that you got to pull
the trigger whenever wherever possible all right
Jaguar is sitting at number 25 we got defensive
interior linebacker running back as the positions
of need funnily enough those are all positions i
don't feel comfortable going after instead i'm
going to upgrade on the offensive line whenever
wherever possible zero way williams is a guard
tackle i don't care trevor lawrence
is a tall quarterback i don't really i don't mind taking
the shot there but he is my number 10 player
in the class of zero way williams first year as an
offensive tackle starting because he was behind lomu last year
and many years before but the kid's
an absolute superstar reminds me a lot
of actually what kind of like Drake Johnson is but at tackle
like really fluid mover i'm still cleaning up a couple things here
and there but he's been
fantastic this year if he goes
in the top 10 i don't think it's a surprise cleveland browns
sitting there at 26 their first pick was trinidad chambliss
so we traded away a third round pick to
get to the spot i don't think that we're
in a bad spot necessarily a wide receiver you could look at
a kj duff or um a reed harris
and you can end up kind of locking in a heavier receiver to pair up
with like kind of more of a contested receiver
because i think Denzel Boston is just a perfect
blend like a very balanced receiver uh technically Reed Harris
is as well but i mean i'm just
thinking like what do i want to do to maximize
the power of this offense uh we look at the edge
rushers i don't really think anybody Devin
Tompkins actually works really well as an edge
and he needs to shed some weight anyways the dude's out of shape
but i mean as long as this
dude's in shape he's going to be a phenomenal edge
for the Browns i don't think it's a huge need
But Devin Tompkins, we're going
to end up selecting him there for the Browns.
You guys like the bigger, meatier edges.
We're going to get him in shape and slim him down,
and he doesn't need to make that immediate impact.
27 for the Dallas Cowboys.
This is a quick and easy one.
We're going to right tackle Melvin Ciani out of Texas.
We're going to tackle whenever, wherever,
and he's a phenomenal offensive tackle.
He always had a couple struggles.
Honestly, who hasn't on the Texas offense?
I mean, just some things are just not clicking.
The blocking style, not the case.
I ended up seeing Melvin Ciani in person
when they played Oklahoma and he looked great
but I did not see anything that made me worry about
him so big fan of that 28
the Chicago Bears I always have Devin Tompkins for this team I do
not anymore I don't get to take the easy way out like come
on I don't get to be lazy uh look at
the options available I don't know how
the hell David Stone's still in here but uh David Stone
is not coming out there's zero percent chance maybe he does
but I just think that'd be so ill
advised um honestly wide receiver not off
the board I can't lie like a KJ Dove like a big heavy
receiver not off the board it's really
not um Reed Harris would be great because he's like smooth
after the catch really good speed like it's
an underrated position to target for a team that in
my opinion still probably could use someone
who stretched the field at a bigger size just Romo Dunze
has not hit and honestly I want to change things up
and let's keep it nice and fresh we're gonna
Reed Harris wide receiver at
of Arizona State uh top 32 player for me on my board currently
he's just built perfectly six four six five 220
pounds has top end speed really good after the
catch teams know they're gonna throw it Reed Harris's way
and it doesn't matter like it's that
type of play 29 for the Bills I wish again linebacker
were available uh interior offensive
line I don't mind it at this point
because the idea that it's like hey let's try to lock in
good players for the long haul like you have
um oh okay they have listed a center probably
Cade Peeper here like granted you look
at Osiris Torrence for example that's a little bit of a
meteor dude Cade Peeper doesn't fit that mo
and to be fair the Bills have traded out several times
I don't think that it would be a bad idea for them
to do it here either I'm gonna have a move
up with the Los Angeles Chargers I they need
to do something to fix the offensive line the Niners
I 100% would believe would probably pull off this ---- too
so the Chargers are making a move up here
very short range but honestly something I think needs to happen
so you look at the value here
it's 80 points I mean you got that third round comp pick
but I'm going to end up charging a
little extra for pick number 102 if you want
to you can end up tossing in like a pick like pick
165 if you really want to so that would be 685
um this would end up being was that 680 or 672
try to toss in something else if you want to but uh
for the time being like maybe we get around
six in the following year whoop-dee-doo the bills
the chargers get a trade in chargers ended up
drafting in their first selection they went after
Jeremiah Smith they're going Cade Peepers here to
help out the offensive line that they're at 29 30
for the patriots they've continued to push the
board down and honestly it's a pretty good idea i
do like the idea of Cleve Lube into this team if
you do want to target that position um i do like
the idea of safety as well you look at the options
available i'm taking a super ceiling shot here
on Kingston Lopa defensive back out of Cal he is
six five two ten i'm gonna have the pleasure of seeing him in a day
and a half super excited love
I'm excited to see him here at SMU
but um yeah Kingston Lopa six five two ten start out the year
like four games five picks dude's
a stud 31 Kansas City Chiefs this is a team I think could
also be in the trade back conversation just based
on the fact that I like the idea of trade as green
like if there's going to be other options like KJ Duff could
be a receiver they're like 6'6 225
smooth as hell really strong boundary threat
and again somebody that has just been continuously
making circus catches I mean to be fair I should show him
a little bit more respect than I do
We'll go after KJ Duff here. That fifth year contract does end up kind
of making things quite nice for the money.
32 San Francisco 49ers and ending off the first day and this video
This is such an easy decision for me and I'm sorry to be boring
Samson Okunlola tackle out of Miami is the choice.
We're having him slot immediately at guard
and I think that's where he should be short term.
he's an elite athlete who has experience at guard
who's playing left tackle right now and is just
having some some growth that needs to happen
and what's beautiful about this is you do have the
systems in place to make that work
and there's a power to his game there's proven pass blocking
tape elite footwork that there's just
so much to love about Samson Okunlola and it's a team that's
we're like when are they going to fix the tackle position
when are they going to fix the tackle
position god blessed them with an elite tackle class even
when they're great so that's the video
thank you guys so much for watching stay tuned tomorrow
for rounds two and three i'll see you
later peace
