there's a push to pull Georgia National Guard troops out of D.C.
They were sent to the nation's capital a little over a year ago.

state lawmakers held a news conference this morning.
Deidre.
Well, just this week, military officials indicated
that those troops would return home in early December.

These are extreme times and extreme situations where we
are absolutely demanding that not just our governor, but all
governors recall the National Guard troops from Washington, D.C.
lawmakers reacted to a letter from state officials stating
that guardsmen are on routine rotations
and are scheduled to conclude their mission
and return to Georgia in early December
