CROCHET HAT for MEN and WOMEN - Blake Beanie Crochet Pattern
Learn to crochet this beautiful textured crochet hat with the Blake Beanie Crochet Pattern.
I'm not going to lie! The Blake Beanie is one of my favourite hats in the 2026 Wonderful Hats crochet along. It features bands of texture that look as though they are braided. The texture is quite simple to work once you know the hook placement.
This crochet pattern is available in English only and written using American crochet terms.
Skill Level: Intermediate
Gauge: 20 sts x 13 rows of hdc in 3rd lp = 4 inches
Finished Size: Approximately 8.5 x 9 inches laid flat; 20-22 inch circumference.
Yarn: Swish Worsted Weight by KnitPicks® (110 yds; 50g; 100% Fine Superwash Merino Wool; (4) worsted weight). You will need approximately 270 yards divided with colour A at 160 yards and colour B at 110 yards. Colours Shown: Colour A: Squirrel Heather and Colour B: Wonderland Heather
Hook: Size H/8 (5 mm) hook.
