Roll that footage.
And there was a report that came out today
that we're going to draft a cornerback
or an offensive tackle.
What if the replacement for Devontae Adams,
and by replacement, I don't just mean wide receiver.
What if that guy's Brock Bowers?
Would you consider drafting Brock Bowers?
If he falls to 13,
that will easily, without question in my mind,
be the best available prospect to draft
because there's a run on quarterbacks
and a run on offensive tackles and wide receivers.
If you guys are looking to be led to the promised land,
look no further.
I'm right here telling you exactly how things
are going to go if certain things fall a certain way.
And if you look behind me, Brock Bowers,
the best player in this draft, is a Las Vegas Raider.
And who was the person not two weeks ago
to suggest that this is a potential?
Me.
It was me.
I'm not here to be braggadocious.
I'm here to tell you this.
The draft board fell a certain way.
And because of six quarterbacks going in the first 12 picks,
and because the Falcons
and the Broncos are dumb teams who took quarterbacks
when they probably shouldn't have,
the best offensive weapon of the last 15 drafts
fell right into the lap of Tommy T and AP and AOC
or Gardner and he's a Raider
and I saw some people going well we didn't need him we didn't need him
oh we didn't need a guard either
but everybody liked the JPJ selection right and I did too
We'll make a separate video on that in a little bit.
But Brock Bowers is a special player,
and I suggested to you two weeks ago that we need
to start planning for the potential future without Davante Adams,
not because he wants
to leave or because we're going to get rid of him,
but because when you get older, you
get worse as a player.
And Davante Adams only has two
or three great number one wideout years left, and we don't
know if one of the quarterbacks on this roster
or somebody we draft or trade for in the future
my eye itches sorry is going to be good enough
by the time that Davante Adams is still at his peak
which means we need to find a future focal point of the offense
and I said to you we are not going
to get one of the three receivers Harrison Adunze
or neighbors and there was nobody good enough to
take at 13 so if you think there's somebody good enough
to take the place of Davante Adams
you either trade back
or you take the tight end that can instantly change your game and they
decided we're gonna get George Kittle Travis Kelsey 2.0
and pair him with Davante Adams
with Zamir White and Jacoby Myers and Trey Tucker
and by the time Davante's gone we will still have
a number one option who could be just as good as him
and then i suggested maybe when you trade
Davante or if you don't even trade Davante
in the year 2025 you trade your first round pick
for Brandon Aiyuk and you've got Aiyuk and Bowers Kelsey 2.0
and Adams 2.0 that is the big picture
and there's people going well we have Michael
Mayer what I don't understand we have one tight
end already you know I guess the only thing we can
do is maybe play with two of them you ever
see Travis Kelce line up in the slot
because Michael Mayer might be the tight end and Davante
might be the wide out one and Jacoby might be the wide out two
and this guy right here might go right
in the slot and then who you gonna guard
who are you going to guard and before you comment on this
video yeah but who's throwing them the football it could be me
or you throwing them the football
they're gonna be wide open guys the best player available
the best offensive prospect of the last
15 years is now a Las Vegas Raider I said
this in my live stream it was an instant reaction but
this is for people who haven't seen that you get
to the top of the division by drafting Pro Bowl
Hall of Fame type players
and I know those are lofty aspirations for a 21 year old rookie but
he is an unbelievable talent
and if you want to beat the Chiefs you need to have unbelievable
talent and I've made a separate video talking about
the other draft players and about how Tom
Telesco was willing to wait to get our tackle
and our guard and our linebacker in our corner
but sometimes there's a player that's too good
to pass up on and this is what I was trying to
warn you about not warn in a negative way
but prepare you because the initial shock of this
pick sent negativity throughout the whole fan base
and then they slept on it and woke up and
saw Brock Bowers as a Raider
and went actually oh my god this is unbelievable and the only reason I
was warning you is to wear off that initial negativity
because right when we were on the
clock I texted multiple Raider fans family members
and friends Brock Bowers is a generational player
we need to take him here
and they went I just don't see that happening and then when Roger
Goodell said Brock Bowers I leapt up out
of my seat I screamed bloody murder in a good way I was
running around calling all the people saying he's
a generational player generational and now we have
him and Michael Mayer everyone's
been saying it Gronkowski Hernandez 2.0 we are rocking and rolling
and now with the pieces that Tommy T's added
on the defensive side of the ball in free agency
and in the draft this only further proves
this was the right pick by the rest of the picks that
he's made he showed you that he was going to get a need
when it was of the right value but sometimes
there's a player that's too good to pass up
on and I understand it would have been nice to go up
and get Jayden Daniels but the Commanders
are never going to let that happen we didn't like
Drake Maye we didn't like JJ McCarthy
the only other person we wanted is Penix we were only
going to take him if he fell to us we were not going to go up
and waste future firsts on a kid
who might not be the guy i think he is going to be the guy
and i actually don't hate the pick by
the Falcons but this is generational this is as close
as you can get to a guaranteed Pro Bowler
day one and you cannot complain about drafting Pro Bowlers especially
with the way our first
round picks have been going the last few years.
This is not Damon Arnett. This is not Jonathan
Abrams. This is not Leatherwood. This is not Ferrell.
And for us to have a similar reaction
to drafting those guys as we did this guy,
that's a look in the mirror moment for some people.
I saw some people rolling their eyes as if this was Clelin Ferrell.
This is a three-time
unanimous first team SEC All-American damn it
this is not some scrub stop acting like Dave
Ziegler or John Gruden is making these picks this is a Pro Bowler
and a year from now you're going
to come crawling back
and realize how ridiculous it was to complain about us taking the best
offensive player in the draft
when we still had multiple picks to go when we filled all the
positions of need and now all those people
that went oh my god what are we doing are already
backtracking on those statements I couldn't be happier
and the only reason I get a little hostile
is because people need to take a second before they make their videos
and comment away about how
this was a bad pick because now how do you think
the pick is looking at the rest of the draft
and how's it going to be when he has 10 touchdowns
and a thousand yards his rookie year come back to
this video when that happens and when him
and Michael Mayer are unstoppable and we're running
the ball because we got two dogs blocking on the edges of the line
and we got guards and tackles
now come back to this video
when that stuff happens check out the Patreon subscribe if you're
new this guy's generational i told you it was going to happen
and i'm tired of people complaining
i'm tired this is how you draft
this is how you draft we're going to make the playoffs
