‘Inspired by RIOTS in France?!’ | Tom Harwood SLAMS Green Councillor’s protest calls

“The lesson isn’t to bring those flames to Britain. It’s to make bloody sure those flames never reach our shores.”

Tom Harwood challenges Green councillor Florence Schechter after she encouraged people “inspired by the protests in France” to join a London demonstration against austerity.

Schechter says encouraging protest is not an endorsement of violence and argues that peaceful demonstrations are essential to making governments listen.
