Schafer and Adrian families share statements after two killed in Stryker soccer tragedy

Our family has endured a tragic and heartbreaking loss with the passing of my beloved husband and our children's father. While our hearts are broken and we are trying to navigate this unimaginable pain, we are incredibly thankful to share some hopeful news about our daughter. She has had her breathing tube removed and is now breathing on her own. We know we still have a very long road ahead of us physically, emotionally, and mentally as our daughter continues to recover and we begin the difficult journey of mourning the loss of a husband father and someone so deeply loved we ask that you please continue to keep our family in your thoughts and prayers pray for our daughters continued healing and strength and for comfort peace and strength for all of us as we face the days months and years ahead we are taking things one day at a time and holding on to faith love and the support of those around us. Thank you to everyone who has prayed for us, reached out, and shown our family so much love during this devastating time. We are truly grateful.
