Jeff Mittie previews K-State women’s basketball season

Yeah, we had a rough week a couple weeks ago. That was a rough week. It was tough on them emotionally because we had some things in that injuries that were just, it was a hard week. Shoot, I spent three days at the emergency room, three separate days with players, and those are never easy. Lost a really good player in Brandy. Ramaya, I thought, has had as good of an offseason as she could. and unfortunately. Teams adjusted well. I think everybody has kind of just gone on. They know the reality of athletics as these things happen, and next player up, and next player up mentality. From a coaching perspective, we really haven't had to slide too many people too many spots, but certainly some extended minutes in practice, and we're not a deep team and we only had 12 coming in so you know we've got 10 right now and so those 10 or they need to stay healthy well yeah most likely I'm not allowed to comment on any players that haven't signed even though there have been things on social media and those things I can't comment on those things but you know I think it with this day and age of college athletics I mean the things you have going on right now just across everybody's looking to add right now so we'll look to add but we won't add just just anybody I mean we want to add people that one help us in areas that can be helpful and true that in most cases I think an ad would we'd also need to see a longer reason why to add not just a short-term fix right so we would look for something like that last year
