Smart lighting for all seasons: High-Tech Texan

Well, the holidays are approaching, and that means lighted displays on homes is coming. For many homeowners, that's all the exterior lighting that's available, but the high-tech Texan has an idea to keep the lights on all year round It's holiday season, but something's missing. Why are the streets and the houses so dark? No lights, no cheer. I mean, where's Clark Griswold when you need him? We need to fix this, but not just for the next few months. Thanks to innovation and technology in outdoor lighting, your home can now shine the entire year round. I've actually never installed holiday or exterior lights, but realizing they can enhance the look and safety of your home at night, I gave it a try. Govee is a smart home lighting brand known for app and voice controlled LED strip lights and permanent outdoor lighting. They're packaged in easy to install kits and once installed, there's almost nothing you can't do on the facade of your home. First of all, these aren't just ordinary holiday lights that have been around for ages. Govee developed some innovative technology with independent control light chips that allow for multiple colors to show on one strip light simultaneously. Installation is indeed simple, thanks to a super sticky adhesive tape on each light. Just peel and stick. Once installed, it's app time. Govee created a user-friendly interface where you can just pick a color or go a bit crazy with pre-programmed scenes. The lights can flash, dance, and sync with music. And yes, there's even AI that can design lighting effects based on your mood and thoughts. They're also compatible with third-party ecosystems like Amazon Alexa Echo, Apple Siri, and Google Assistant. Hey Google, turn on the outside permanent lights and make them flash. The company also has brand partnerships with sports teams and stadiums, including Texas A&M, the fourth quarter Light Up Aggieland light show at Kyle Field is all Govee. And if you really wanted for some reason to show that maroon on the side of your home, yes, there's a pre-programmed button for that too. All right, that's enough of that. Along with strip lights, Govee also makes path lights for yards and stream lights, all controllable from the same app. So why keep living in the dark ages? With just a push of a button, you can light up your life and actually the entire neighborhood 365 nights a year, no matter what the occasion, especially when your favorite team wins. And that's a good thing. I'm Michael Garfield, the High Tech Texan. Happy holidays.
