Yes, I'm about to become a published author, a poet.
It was like, that's crazy with all the things in your life.
You're a janitor, you're an Uber driver, you're a family man.
You have all of these things.
When do you have the time to write?
My name is Jibril Ademu.
I go by the name The Right Share Poet.
That name just suited, I just embraced it.
Because for me, I couldn't separate the work
that I do with poetry that I write.
because I write poetry that is, that comes from my encounters
with the people that I meet on a daily basis.
Let's get the car clean.
Let's have a converse with a client
and I find that what they said resonated a lot with me.
I would want to capture that in writing really quickly
so that I don't forget it.
So that's a micro moment that I was able to capture some of that,
it's not forgotten.
When I go back home, I work on it a little bit,
maybe 30 minutes, maybe an hour.
Some people go hours studying and reading
and try to write out their ideas.
I don't have that luxury.
So that is what it looks like for me.
This is for inspiration.
I have this, The Great Gatsby.
It's my favorite book.
I wanted people to know that, you know,
you can be doing, you can be a janitor,
you can be an Uber driver,
you can be all of these things.
you can still be able to do whatever you want to write,
because this is the biggest dream I've had,
was to be a writer, to come out with a published work
and to share that knowledge with people.
