Replacing Blower with Intermittent Problems and Cleaning Condenser Coil

Hey guys, in today's video I'm returning to that apartment where I need to change the blower motor run a new whip and clean the condenser and then we can check on pressures so here we go screws up here pull this out the way and see what I need to do this out hmm those i need to get to are right there they got stuck in there easier said than done okay I finally got those out this is what we got in here once you get these little screws out it ain't so it's easy to get it out but the the way they're set in there was I couldn't get my my little bit to fit they were set in a little bit the bit wouldn't fit on them like it's like it needs to this is a fairly new motor these um these units out here aren't even two years old yet so this is a warranty motor see how that slid down already i think it's just as smooth as it can be no would be my three eights it's got a a lock nut on the other side at least that's what it looks like that's a lock nut i'm looking to see where this was set this might be one of those that has the it's got little notches right here so you can't stick this in the shaft will only go in one way right now we're fixing to see about this right here where this got hot wait a minute that's my thermostat wire is this the right one that got that threw sparks did somebody already um replace the wire yeah this has been replaced let me look at this nameplate oh minimum circuit breaker 25 14.6 circuit yeah at 12 will do one of these out here before or no i haven't this would be like our first time really seeing the first time well this is my first time seeing somebody do it this is what i'm trying to connect to so this is what this coal was looking like we're fixing to clean it for here smokes i might go get some I'm thinking about getting chemicals on this look at all this that I washed off that coal that's a ton of lint this thing back together comes to this apartment complex come next summer they're going to be keeping me busy come back out here and clean this up a little more but we're ready to turn this on I'm just going to check pressures on it and I'll be done and skip it if you want depend on the pressures it's temperatures outside right now 73 degrees it's supposed to get up close to eight and today we've got a um super heat of 36 degrees i think as this pool dries out that's going to improve a little bit this dries off that sub cooling is coming up the sub cooling is just something to keep an eye on but it's the super heat that we're mostly concerned with because this has a piston all right considering the temperatures these right here aren't bad at all 10 degrees sub cooling 23 and a half degrees super heat but i'm up to 40 degrees all right guys that one did settle down and give me a more appropriate super heat thanks for watching guys and i hope that apartment complex keeps me busy come next summer the way they have those um dryer vents set right next to the condenser i'm sure i'll be out there again thanks for watching i'll catch you on the next one
