We're on. We're just saying hello. Oh my goodness.
It's going to be a big, big Saturday.
These little dogs at Santa Anita Park
because Hello Wiener Fest is back and so are the races
That's right here to talk about that and other fun
family activities happening for the rest of the month
George Ortuzar, welcome to Santa Anita with all of your friends
Where do you want to start?
It is so great. This is one of the biggest weekends we have all year.
We have so many events, so many activities, so much fun.
We've got the Pumpkin Patch and Fall Fest
That's got train rides for the kids,
and it's just a party of big pumpkins for everybody.
And then we've got Japan Family Weekend
The whole weekend, we're going to have guys drumming with taikos
We're going to have a cherry tree presented
by Oak Tree Racing Association
where you can pick money out of a tree.
Everybody gets real money
Real money.
How much?
It could be from $5 all the way to $5,000
Wow, okay
So it is really cool
And part of that is this cosplay, which is costume play
And this event is so exciting
And these guys are representing.
With cosplay, you've got people from anime
from video games, from all over the place
Sandra owns all of these
Yes.
And she's Gold Ship
And she's here with her friends
She's a free spirit and is a trickster.
So be careful with her.
Her character is a trickster
Scarlett is here
and Ashley Flash is here
and they have a contest
and they go all out as you can see
I can see that
but I gotta say, sorry, the highlight
of the weekend is that
Dotson races on Saturday
it's Halloweener time
Halloweener fest
and they're gonna be racing all day
and they're gonna be in costumes
they're gonna be like Batman and Spiders
dressed like hot dogs with buns and mustard and ketchup
how many dogs?
Oh, how many dogs are going to be?
We think we're going to have about 1,200.
1,200?
Oh, my goodness.
1,200 dogs.
We're showing some pictures from the past,
and I love to see the dogs in costumes.
I think it's so cute.
They're representing in their special sassy dresses right now.
Oh, it's so nice.
And the final race will be actually
on the track where all the racehorses run.
So it is just a phenomenal event.
Everybody loves it.
1,200 dogs.
1,200 dogs.
My gosh, it's a weekend to remember,
it's only like what an entertainment value.
It's $10 only to get in, free parking, you get all these events.
Plus you can make money on the cherry tree.
I mean, it's really, you go to like a sporting event,
it's $50 for parking and $25 for a hot dog.
How much money is on the tree?
Back to the tree. The tree is full of money,
so everybody gets- But like how much is on there?
It's a $30,000, it's a $30,000,
it's been coming on down at Santa Anita this weekend.
This is so awesome, all right,
and is there a certain pose that you guys do in cosplay?
Yeah, let's do it.
Let's do the Gold Ship.
Yeah. Gold Ship.
The gold ship.
Okay, little horse.
Okay, wow, okay.
Let's give that a go.
Are we actually gonna do a race right here?
We're gonna do a race, yes.
Okay, let's race.
Our cosplay girls are gonna
be the starting gate, they're gonna hold them.
Lily is the black one, and the other one is Penny.
Penny and Lily.
Pumpkin Patch Fall Fest all weekend and next weekend, okay?
And then the Family Japan Day, Saturday and Sunday.
Be there.
Let's go.
Get ready.
And they're off.
Lily's fast.

And they get some treats and everything.
It's really...
