There are new calls for an investigation after new video
shows immigration agents hitting a man with their vehicle.
Now, this video you're looking at shows a black SUV hitting Antonio
Morada in the city of Woodland in Yolo County Tuesday morning.
Morada says he went to the neighborhood
after seeing reports of ICE activity.
And once he was there, he started recording what he believed
to be ICE agents and their vehicles.
But Morada then says the agent started to drive away before one
of them came back and hit him with his SUV.
They ended up pulling out into the street,
trying to take off as I was on their driver's side recording them.
So they essentially pushed me into the street.
And so I just kept walking down the street,
recording them, reading out their license plate.
And before I knew it, that Tahoe that had taken off down
the street was I could hear it coming at me.
and it just ran straight into me.
Police there in Woodland confirmed
the vehicle involved in that incident
was being operated by immigration authorities.
Our sister station in Sacramento tried
to contact the Department of Homeland Security
to get a comment and has not heard back from them yet.
Meantime, Democratic Congressman Mike Thompson,
who represents that part of Northern California,
released a statement.
It says, in part, ICE cannot continue to terrorize our communities.
I'm in communication with local law enforcement
who've informed me that ICE was operating the vehicle in question
and that an investigation is underway.
