Mexican Adventure & Baking Retreat

Hey everybody. I thought I'll do a surprise live show today. Just gonna wait for a few of you to come on here. Hello, hello, hello. Thursday night with Alla. I had a lot, a lot of questions in my DMs about this retreat that I'm planning. So I wanted to come here and just answer a couple of your questions hi Rachel hi Mike Matt hello Mike hello Sergei hello so I actually just met one of my students um here he did two of my courses and he happened to be in Mexico and he just messaged me like hey I'm around do you want to meet up and I was like yeah let's definitely do it so we went for like a quick a drink um and you know since he's been uh since he's from mexico i told him about the retreat that i'm planning so how you been since the breakout oh mike yes i've been good yeah i mean working as always hello chef hi so i wanted to share about the retreat right because uh we are actually so everybody who signed up to the retreat um uh we will be talking with you tomorrow my project manager is going to arrange the calls 15 minute calls with me so you get to chat to me one-on-one especially if you're interested in the retreat but I wanted to tell you a little bit more detail what exactly it is because I've never done anything like this before so it's the first time I'm doing this so I am a little bit excited and scared at the same time so but I want to share because I feel that you know I've traveled so much in my life and I've you know, done many, many things. And I was like, why don't I just combine, you know, something that I know really well. And also I live in Mexico, right? So I live here, which means I know I've been here for two years. I know all the best places. I know all the best spots. And I was like, why don't I just combine the real life masterclass, which a lot of you have been requesting. And I know some of you who wanted this for like many, many years, but because of the pandemic, we weren't allowed to obviously travel and then we weren't allowed to do like real life master classes but I've been doing real life master classes for many many years before and you know I do miss them and they're obviously like a next level you know it's you know when you do a private master class with a chef it's very very different because I can exactly see what you're doing I am you know showing you real life you know you're learning like learning like how the things need to be you know like we're talking about the textures the creaminess everything and of course we'll be doing it together right um but then i was like i don't want to just do the baking retreat why don't we combine these two together you know baking together with a holiday um so yeah actually i'm just gonna post the link here is that the right link hang on guys oh no that's a zoom link one second uh just because i the retreat because i want to make sure that everybody who comes to retreat has really good energy really good vibes and you know we can have fun together right at the end of the day like it's not just me it's gonna be a bunch of us and it's gonna be like so much fun so this retreat initially I planned it for five days but now I decided that all the things that I want to do I'm gonna have to include six days because I really want if you come to this retreat I want you to literally have the best time and I want you to experience the whole of Mexico right in like a short time and of course if you wanted to stay longer after the retreat you can stay longer in mexico but it's going to be six days five nights it's going to be in a very nice luxury villa it's a huge villa we have like our private pool we're literally five minutes from the beach walking um you can literally smell like the ocean the air you know when you're like because i went to see the villa like yesterday um and there is i think several bedrooms right and there are different types of bedrooms that you can get depending on you know where you want to be if you want to be on your own if you want to share a room with someone or you know like if for example you have a partner and you want to come with them so that's like very very cool I think so it could be like a romantic trip for you and your partner where you can really really connect you know together because we're going to be doing really amazing activities where we don't just you know do one thing we do things where we really connect with ourselves we connect with other people and I feel like we're really missing that connection nowadays you know everything's online we are all online so this is like a really great thing to do together um so i've also arranged like a private chef so there's going to be a private chef that's going to cook us breakfast and it's not like um it's literally like from a menu you can choose whatever you want i talked to the chef and he was like yeah so basically you can literally order whatever you want eggs in any way or like oatmeal or pancakes waffles whatever you want right fruit platter so I think that's really awesome because you know when you have a private chef you can literally feel like five start you know spoiled hi Dan hi everyone who's joining so I'm just uh I'm just telling about the retreat that I have planned and I just hope some of you will want to join if you obviously want to you know talk to me tomorrow I'll do the calls then uh put your details in the form make sure you add your uh phone code so that we know which country you're from otherwise some people left with no code and i have no idea where it is so and then um i obviously have also arranged private dinners with a chef um and they will vary you know like one night we're gonna have like meats then fish like all like different really really tasty food cooked by the chefs you know with like soups and rice basically meals are covered right um so you don't need to worry about the food and obviously it's going to be high class uh rachel lol nice uh when is it so the retreat dates for now is 18th of april till 23rd that's the dates i have reserved for now um because it's after the easter so the tickets will be much cheaper to fly to uh cancun wherever you are because it's like lower season so that's why i also put that date in because like you know beginning of april it's easter and it's like very expensive to fly so this is much better for everybody right um and then so not only obviously we're gonna have our dinners and breakfast cooks for us um i have arranged a traditional mexican cooking class it's like a really proper traditional class uh where we will learn lots of traditional mexican dishes you know starting from enchiladas tacos whatever guacamole like all the cool stuff right then I've also arranged a private boat so it's a private yacht for a whole day for everybody right it's gonna be a big big yacht and it's gonna pick us up we're gonna go to Cancun we're gonna sail in a beautiful cancun water we're then gonna go to Isla Mujeres which is very famous island in this area in yucatan and we're going to do snorkeling we're going to stop in two three places for snorkeling so you can see you know beautiful fish and the corals and we're then also going to go to Punta Norte which is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world sometimes you've probably seen i post them here so it's like you know where the water is like turquoise blue like and even the whole sailing the water is like literally you if you've never seen water like this trust me it's like a life-changing experience you can't like get enough of it you're like watching the water and it's like wow like is this real um so it's like a whole day boat trip right and then they're gonna stop in Isla Mujeres to give you time to go shopping to explore the island maybe go for lunch if you wanted to and but i've also arranged so that we have some fruit fresh fruit on the boat and mexican ceviche if you don't know what ceviche is it's basically like uh fresh seafood mixed with like lime and coconut milk and spices it's incredible okay so and the drinks will be included there will be beer water and also as a bonus i decided i'm gonna buy everybody maybe a bottle of tequila in case we're gonna have some people who want to really have a mexican experience um so i'll buy like a bottle of really good tequila for all my students and uh you know we're gonna have some shots obviously it's optional um so that's gonna be a whole day planned then after that uh i have also planned so i i have like a whole days written out i'm just telling you what will be included in this tour adventure i've planned a private salsa bachata dancing class so it's gonna be for two hours so we're gonna loosen up we're gonna do some dancing we're gonna learn how to dance bachata i'm gonna to have two mexican professional salsa dancers so you know they're going to teach us how to boogie um and it's going to be awesome you know it's going to be a private class we're going to have some mexican spanish music we're going to dance one evening um then i've also arranged um uh so it's basically a sound healing guided meditation with sound bowls now in mexico is very energetic place you know there's a lot of energy in here it's very very healing uh because of the you know cenotes underground so this girl um she helped me heal so much you know so i wanted to invite her she's really famous i would say in her area uh because she's you know doing everything in tulum and tulum is like even more crazy pricing but she agreed to come and and do the sound session for two hours with us and what it means is basically we're just gonna lie down relax and we're gonna close our eyes you know we're gonna really connect you know with the music she's gonna play the instruments and it's like sound healing bowl meditation and basically um sometimes she even puts the bowls on the areas where maybe you have pain or something that you know it doesn't feel right and honestly it is really really healing i'm not saying you're gonna heal from one session but it will literally like help you so much and ground you uh this is amazing ceviche is good what oh wow wow i'm glad i haven't even told you everything yet okay how does it sound so far i told you i'm really good at planning so are you nervous no i'm not nervous i'm just excited i had a diet coke so maybe i'm high on sugar even though it's sugar-free so yeah so that's going to be one evening then um i decided to do something extra special i didn't think i was thinking maybe i should keep it as a surprise but then i was like no i'll include it but i will personally book everybody a one hour massage so and i decided to do it when you arrive you know from a flight sometimes you get tired and and you know swollen up like that's what i do and the best thing is to have a nice massage when you arrive in a new place so you start like your vacation in this like super zen mood. So it's one hour full body massage, or if you want, it can just be the shoulders or just your head, whatever you want. So masseuses are very flexible and they will give you a choice of three massages, whether you want maybe like a deep tissue, if you have a lot of muscle pain, or it will be like a relaxing massage, you know, or you want just like a Roma Swedish massage, which is kind of relaxing, but with a little bit of pressure. So that will be included in your package. And that will be, you know, you can either use it the first day, which I recommend, or you can use it, of course, later. But we do have a busy program. And obviously, I'm doing all of this because this is what I love doing. And I know how to rest and relax, you know, trust me on that one. Then, of course, I've planned. Okay, so I've planned something fun. I've planned a private masterclass on how to make cocktails. so we're gonna learn how to make four amazing popular cocktails mojito pina colada uh margaritas of course because we're in mexico and one special mexican cocktail with mango and he didn't reveal the secret to me but the guy said he will teach us all and we can take the notes and get all the recipes as well and we're all gonna get involved in making the cocktails as well so it's not just you're gonna be watching you're gonna be also making the cocktails together so i think that night is gonna be fun we're gonna be all drinking a lot of cocktails i might even join even though i don't drink but i think i'm probably gonna get involved in the cocktail making now to go to the baking part you know like like this is all like you know relaxing and fun stuff now i have planned obviously the mexican cooking class will which will be led by a mexican um lady because she's obviously mexican so i want to give you like the proper traditional uh experience however with me we're going to do the baking side. So we're going to have different masterclasses. The first one is something different that you've probably never done before. It's basically like an arts cake masterclass. So we're going to draw on our cakes. And this is a really cool skill just for fun, just for meditation. If you just want to relax or if you want to even sell cakes later, this is a really great idea because if you like it and if you get into it and if you're even good at drawing, you will love this class because it's going to be like a three-hour master class we're going to basically draw different types of pictures and i will teach you how to draw on your cakes and how to create these like insane paintings on a cake um so that's going to be really amazing and then we're going to have a full day with me where we're going to do master class with me for a whole day and in that day i haven't planned like the full full full thing what we're going to do but i'm planning it now, but because it's going to be a full day, we're going to be making different types of cakes. You're all going to be making cakes together in pairs separately. So, you know, we are going to have a lot of cake on that day, um, and different desserts. And again, this is suitable for anybody. So, you know, even if you come with your partner, your, your wife or your husband, they also can get involved, but if they don't want to bake a cake, they can just chill by the pool or go to the beach. Right. Uh, but I would recommend everyone gets involved because it's just so fun and so relaxing. So we're going to bake a lot of different things. I'm going to teach you skills. I'm going to, you know, watch you. I'm going to basically be there. It's basically like a real life masterclass. And just so you know, when I do real life masterclasses, they don't usually, they're not longer than four hours. So here I'm spending with you like a whole day teaching you plus another masterclass on a different day on arts cakes. And of course, I'll be with you throughout the six days too. So you get like six days with me as well. And you know i i don't know i just think it's gonna be like the most incredible thing ever um and then not only that so what i planned also because i was thinking okay how can i give you the most amount of value right not only to have fun relax bake the cakes and do the mastermind session i decided that it would be a really good idea to have a professional content team so i'm gonna have a photographer and videographer uh filming the whole event uh you know i said like they're going to take your phones if you wanted to to film videos and pictures on your personal phone so you have like a lot of memories and footages that you can use later and then we're going to have a professional photo shoot at the end when we make all our cakes so that you can take pictures with your cakes or if you didn't want to take pictures with your cakes you can just do it um you know in a jungle you know or just you in a bikini whatever you want right but i will have a professional videographer and photographer for like four hours with us um and then once they do like the final videos i will give that all like memories for you the footages and of course you can use those photos for your website for your social media or just to post anywhere um for fun you know but i know a lot of the students that i have for example to sell the cakes they do struggle with taking good photos or they don't have photos of them and the cakes and it's really great to have that on your website right or somewhere where you promote because people want to see you right when you sell a cake they want to see who are they buying from so it's really really great to uh show your face right even if you don't like photos this photographer is going to make you look so good they're professional the photos are going to be fully edited as well so i'm just you know like i said i've planned everything what is everyone saying you're an amazing example of latvian girls are hardworking and smart thank you so much malik sounds amazing yeah so and so that's not everything okay another thing there will be a couple of surprises which i won't reveal because you know i can't tell you everything and another thing that i've arranged is basically the best taco tour of on the famous fifth avenue so basically i've arranged like a whole trip we're all gonna go into the town like nightlife we're gonna see the nightlife there is also gonna be some shopping afterwards if you want to tour if you want to go to bar and boogie you know it's up to you it's gonna be our last night uh but we're gonna go and try all the best street food okay but like not street food where you know you might be worried about getting poisoned or what but this will be like a professional tour with um tested places where it's safe where food is cooked correctly and um yeah we'll try like all the local traditional food you know all the bits and you we're gonna have to be hungry obviously to do that um yeah and then you can see the night live there's a lot of live music so you can chill out and hang out and um yeah and another thing that i've included i've included transportation too so basically i'm gonna have two vans one will come in the afternoon and one in the evening so i would suggest you know i will obviously talk to you personally if you come on this trip but i would suggest everybody arrives you know in two different time slots so that we can pick you up from the airport so you don't need to stress and get hassled and we take you all the way to the villa and the same will be going back you know we'll have the uh morning and afternoon times and you can uh go back on sunday right back home to the airport so there's no stress literally i wanted to make sure that whoever comes on this retreat it's you know everything's taken care for you you don't need to worry about the food you don't need to worry about the water the transport planning all the trips because this as you can imagine if you ever planned anything it takes a lot of work and uh you know organization and especially if it's a large group um so yeah that's that's kind of the whole trip so it's six days um yeah like i mean i would love to hear your feedback what you guys think i've never done anything like this before this idea came to me like a while back and then i was like i want to do it i want to try it do we have the pricing yet so rachel sort of yes we're kind of finalizing the numbers now so we will have different options and i will uh whoever signs on the form i will call you tomorrow and i'll give you more details on the pricing uh but basically if you come on your own you can have your own room but there is option also to share a room with another person and that will be slightly cheaper because you'll be sharing like you will have a roommate right but again we're not going to be spending a lot of time in a room because we'll be out and about you'll be probably chilling on the beach or somewhere by the pool when we have time but you also have time to relax and my program you know the way I designed it is that I'm not going to pressure anybody there is a you know there's a program but I would recommend you get involved with everything but if you just wanted to relax and you're like you know i'm gonna skip this or like whatever which i don't think you will because we're gonna have so much fun and also in the villa we're gonna have staff as well so we're gonna have staff to to help us out and i think we're gonna have a private chef there just in case um anything else is wanted and also the best thing is that we can bring our own alcohol so if you're gonna fly to cancun right uh you can buy some alcohol and duty-free and you can bring it to the villa in case you drink okay we will i will have some drinks included but not a lot right but if you wanted to have more of a party you know and it's your vacation why not you want to have some cocktails or drinks then uh you can bring that and they allow that so you can bring whatever drinks you want i mean alcoholic drinks so much fun awesome yeah so this is basically like what you get um and like i said i've never done anything like this before but i think it will be amazing um it's only going to be very small group because of course as you can imagine uh planning all of this for so many people is is a lot and also like you know i'm limited to how many people can come on the boat or get in a car or even in the villa right so we we minimum we're gonna have 12 people and maximum 16 people but the villa is very big uh which means that it's so spread out like you can just you know you don't even gonna see each other so yeah and it's very safe in case anyone's like worried or anything like that you know like i've been living here for two years um there's police everywhere you know at night so we're not even going to be out at night anyway but it's very safe the villa is guarded there's security uh there's cameras i think even so like everything is very very safe and we're going to have private transportation like you know to the boat and back and to to the you know taco tour and so forth and yeah so it's going to be incredible um so i decided to you know see how many people would be interested in this and we do have a form that i've you know posted like the the last few days and um we do have a lot of applications already so that's why i want to do a personal call tomorrow just to give you more details and um sign you up so yeah that's that's kind of uh you know that's the deal um yeah right uh rachel definitely yeah it's very very safe um like i said i've been living here for two years um and the only time i suppose you know like it wouldn't be safe like anywhere if you're drunk and you're walking alone at 3 a.m on the street it's probably not going to be safe anywhere else you know like in any country but uh one thing that people forget that you know mexico is a huge country but Quintana Roo the the caribbean side where everybody is and where you guys gonna come um it's a tourist area so it's very very safe here you know they they have a lot of protection and uh the area is just very very safe because obviously they don't want to lose the tourists to be honest a lot of everyone pretty much speaks english here as well so if you're worried about the language well first of all you're going to be with me not that i speak spanish but un poquito um but i've arranged everything so you know you're not going to deal with anything i just want you to literally you know touch down in cancun take your bag go your duty-free drinks come out of the plane you know get in a van if people are waiting because you might need to wait for other people to join in case like let's say if your flights are 12 and someone comes at 12 30 or whatnot um and yeah and then yeah literally everything else is taking care of you for you of you and for you so yeah but if anybody has any questions let me know you can uh put them down below in the in the video i know this is a live so i don't think any of these comments will save but um i'm sure the people will watch the replay what if partners come absolutely so you can come with your partner or your best friend um so you will be able to share a room like a double room like a bigger room or smaller room okay so it depends on a room that you want um and yeah absolutely you can you can come with a partner so if you come with a partner the price will be even cheaper i will give you a better deal because you know it's like so it's you two together um so that's what we're working out now to make sure you know we cover all our costs and uh pay everybody you know as well and um you know so that everyone's happy but um yeah that's kind of that's kind of what it's gonna be but honestly i think this i i don't know if i'm gonna to do this again so you know this is something that i wanted to try and this is once in a lifetime opportunity to spend time with me uh i don't know if i'm going to be in mexico next year you know i don't know where i'll be so you know this is really great time especially if you wanted to come and learn from me and just generally have a holiday right so it's more of an experience with a lot of additional uh bonuses uh you know included in there so yeah it's going to be awesome so excited great
