Chinese national working as Customs and Border Patrol
supervisor caught swapping hardware in DHS computers.
Chinese national working as a Customs
and Border Patrol supervisor at the main Canadian border caught
on camera swapping hardware inside Homeland Security computers,
then putting them back online on the government network.
46 computers in all.
How could he possibly have been hired by the Customs
and Border Patrol as a supervisor?
The Customs and Border Patrol supervisor assigned
to the main Canada border
has been arrested and charged by the FBI
and they say he was caught
on hidden camera tearing apart government computers,
ripping out processors and memory, along with hard drives,
and stuffing in tainted parts, quote-unquote,
and plugging the machines back into the CBP DHS network.
Terry Liu, 39, of Calais, Maine,
described himself as a Chinese native.
He worked as a Customs
and Border Patrol supervisor to the Calais Port of Entry.
with duties stretching from Ferry Point to Milton Crossings.
Customs and Border Patrol officers required to be U.S. citizens.
According to the main wire,
Liu has posted images on his Facebook account
suggesting he voted in the 2020 election as well.
That does not answer the question every American should be asking.
How did a man that is not a U.S. citizen and is from China
end up with after-hours access
to homeland security computers on the northern border?
And how did he end up as a supervisor?
According to an FBI affidavit obtained
by Steve Robinson at the Maine Wire,
Customs and Border Patrol IT staff discovered in late 2025
that computers at three Maine border facilities had
been modified without authorization.
The count grew to 46 machines in total,
38 in Calais, 6 at Ferry Point, and 2 in Milltown.
All the computers were put back on the DHS network.
39 had their CPU swapped, 6 had their RAMs changed,
and at least 8 hard drives were replaced.
The original hard drive
was the 14th generation Intel iCore 7 processor, but what went back
were older, weaker chips, including Pentium class parts,
that did not meet Customs and Border Patrol specifications.
Many of those computers were then reconnected to the agency's network.
The FBI has not disclosed what the new hardware was programmed to do,
if they even can figure it out or know.
Port Director Theodore Cummings had already told Lew
in writing March 2025, more than a year and a half ago,
quote, in writing, please do not move any computers or computer parts.
Stay in your lane.
File a ticket and we will take care of it.
Lew allegedly kept on going.
Investigators installed cameras.
On a January overnight shift,
footage reportedly showed Lew carrying computers to a training room,
popping the inside panels, pulling processors out,
scraping thermal paste, installing replacements, and hooking
the machines back up to the monitors, keyboards, and the network.
At one point, he appeared to log in with his government ID.
Another camera later caught him pulling a memory module
and dropping it in his desk drawer.
Lew admitted to the Federal Bureau
of Investigations on September 9, three days ago,
that he had used custom Border Patrol parts
in Newegg's trading program for store credits.
First, he said he was trying to make the computers more efficient.
We know he was just setting up a way for the CCP
to get into the DHS network and computers.
He then changed his story
and said that he was doing this because he was angry about how long
the Custom Border Patrol computer repairs took.
The affidavit says he knew the swaps degraded performance
and who knows what else the replacement parts did.
We know that DHS and FBI don't want to look like the idiots they are,
so we'll never really know.
Lew took the Department of Homeland Security hardware to Newegg,
a company who buys used computer parts,
and their records show he repeatedly traded in these 14th
generation Intel i7 processors for money and store credits.
Newegg's records match the missing government parts to the T.
Lou was paid about $200 a pop for each processor,
not to mention the RAM and the hard drives.
Customs and Border Patrol estimates it's going
to cost more than $100,000 to replace the 46 computers.
That estimate is right on, based on about $2,000 per computer.
which is about what a replacement i7 quad-core 14th
generation processor computer costs, if not more.
Lew is charged with theft of government property
and destruction of government property.
Each count, 46 of them, carries up to 10 years in federal prison.
I sure wish we could get him on so much more,
some serious charges, as he deserves it.
but I'm sure nothing nefarious was going on here.
He was just headed back to China, by the way,
to visit family and friends when apprehended.
Laugh out loud.
Well, I guess you will settle for the 460 years in prison
if you can get him convicted in Maine,
even after being caught on video.
Prosecutors want him held without bail.
They cite frequent international travel,
financial resources, foreign connections,
and a home so close to the Canadian border
that an ankle monitor might not even stop him
from just walking out of the country.
A Washington County source told the Maine Wire Lew
was grabbed at Bangor International Airport
while he was trying to catch a flight to China.
His Poole Street property in Calais, purchased in 2018
and sitting on the Canadian border, was raided Thursday.
Court records have not independently confirmed every detail
of the airport stop to date.
Some questions that come to mind is, who hired this Chinese national?
Who gave him his clearance?
Who thought that giving him IT duties meant he could
be left alone on midnight shifts
with sole access to these DHS computers and their network?
Why did it take months, if not over a year,
and hidden cameras to catch him
after a written order not to touch the machines
was given to him in March of 2025?
Five, based on all this alone,
whoever gave him that order knew something was up.
Typical government crap.
I'm sure the entire DHS network is infected with spyware now.
And China already has a record on every single American.
Please give us a thumbs up, but most of, please share,
because you're not going to see this on mainstream media.
They're working with and for the government, period.
This is embarrassing.
God bless you all.
