'WARSHIP ON FIRE': Iran Attacks U.S. Carrier Gerald R. Ford In Gulf Waters, Forces 1400 Km Retreat?

Iran has intensified its warnings to Washington, with IRGC spokesman Hossein Mohebbi claiming a US aircraft carrier moved 1,400 kilometres away from the Persian Gulf after an Iranian strike. The US military has not commented on the allegations. As Washington reportedly prepares to deploy the USS Theodore Roosevelt carrier strike group and additional Marines to the Middle East, Tehran is threatening undersea internet cables in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran's military chief has also warned that any renewed conflict would come at a heavy cost.
