(368) Sheleeart Bloom Success! Gorgeous Cells with Bloom Technique
In this video I am showing a successful SheleeArt style bloom technique! I took a break for a bit because I wasn't having success with this technique but I slowed down, took my time and really nailed it this time! I am going to be putting out some videos testing out different cell activators to see what paint/mixture works for me. Some of the supplies are similar to what Shelee is using but other supplies are those that other people have had success with. In this video, I am using Golden High Flow titanium white as the cell activator in the first painting, and Jo Sonja's titanium white in the second painting. For me, the Jo Sonja's mixture worked much better!

Base paint (pillow) - White semi-gloss house paint
Colors - Each color i a different Gold fluid or high flow paint and is mixed with Ultra deep base tint along with Jo Sonja's Gloss Varnish (about 3 parts tint to 1 part gloss varnish). I also use about 1-2 teaspoons of water but some people don't use any water
Cell activator - I am testing out different titanium white paints and in the first painting I used Golden High Flow titanium white mixed with Floetrol, about 3 parts floetrol to 1 part paint. I also use about 4-5 drops of wood conditioner to each of the white paints.
In the second painting, I use Jo Sonja's titanium white with floetrol (3 parts floetrol to part paint) along with 4-5 drops of wood conditioner.
