Located along the Mount Baker Highway in the North Cascades, the Mount Baker Wilderness centers around Mount Baker (Kulshan), one of Washington’s 5 major volcanoes. Plus the equally impressive (in our opinion) Mount Shuksan! Here you'll find striking mountain peaks, glaciers, clear lakes, evergreen trees, alpine terrain, and wildlife. It encompasses many of the things we love about Washington, all in a relatively accessible area!
And to experience it, we combined 3 of its most popular day hikes (Chain Lakes Loop, Ptarmigan Ridge, & Lake Ann) into one epic 3 day backpacking adventure!
