Meteorologist Jared Piepenberg on this Sunday morning, waking up
to some clear sky, just a few high clouds cruising on through.
Today's going to be a little warmer day, and that breeze will slowly
be backing off, especially for western and northwestern Minnesota.
You're going to feel that first.
For the Twin Cities and into southern Minnesota,
that breeze likely to stick around until about lunchtime or so.
Then we'll start to notice throughout the afternoon
that that breeze kind of tapering off.
It won't be as windy as what we had on Friday and yesterday.
Southern Minnesota now down near Owatonna, Rochester, Winona area.
It may just be a little gusty here even into the afternoon.
But finally, as we head into the work week,
of course, those winds will settle down for tomorrow.
Monday, not much wind.
This is all the way out toward Tuesday.
Western parts of the state will have a breeze returning.
But Monday just looks like a gorgeous day
with some sunshine and barely any wind.
And today's going to be really reasonable as well.
Just a little breeze, especially throughout the morning.
You'll notice a little bit more mostly sunny and warmer than yesterday.
Most of us hit that 60-degree mark or just above yesterday.
Today, tack on about another 5, 6, 7, 8 degrees.
From that, we'll warm up in those mid and upper 60s.
There may be a 70 sneaking in somewhere,
but most of us will be in the 60s.
Warmer and breezy for today still.
That breeze lingers through a midday.
67 in the Twin Cities tonight, 44.
Just slightly above average for us.
Northern Minnesota will be a little crisp out there,
so we'll have some mid and lower 30s
scattered across northern Minnesota.
And Monday's just looking really, really mild.
Just a beautiful day.
As I mentioned, up north could have a few pockets of some lower 30s,
a little chillier start for your Monday.
And then Monday afternoon looks pretty nice out there.
Pretty seasonable or even above up in northern Minnesota.
For southern Minnesota, getting above average by not quite 10 degrees,
but approaching that as our average high temperature now
is 57 in the Twin Cities.
So we've got 10 degrees above today, nearly that for tomorrow.
Just a beautiful Monday, sunshine Tuesday, if you haven't heard yet.
Some really, really mild and warm weather is on the way.
Check out those overnight lows at the end of the week.
Those are going to be closer to what our average highs are, mid-50s.
Friday looks a little bit breezy as the cold front approaches.
That looks like it'll pass through
on Saturday, maybe sparking a shower or two.
We'll have to see. It's pretty far out in the forecast.
But in the meantime, above average temperatures across the board,
overnight lows and daytime highs.
