Some more near normal temperatures today.
We will get a little bit warmer each
and every day this week back near some seasonal highs over
the next few days before we skyrocket back well above average.
We're going to get to those temps and what you can expect coming up,
but enjoy the beautiful sunrise this morning. We really are showing
that we don't have much in terms of cloud cover at all.
Just a few light upper level clouds could be out there
and that's all we'll have today. So very similar to yesterday. Maintain
a very calm forecast, not only here locally, but statewide.
A little bit further north in the UP
and northern Wisconsin, especially for those who may
be traveling north today to get some of the
fall foliage peaks.
It is still going to be slightly a little more cloudy, but not bad in
terms of your forecast. The big reason why we
don't have much going on, and this is going to
be the continuing trend throughout the week,
is we have a series of high pressures stretching
across the Mississippi into Ohio River Valley and the East Coast,
and that is going to prevent
any kind of fronts from really making it our direction.
So as we are continuing to move
forward in time here, we may notice
that front again bring in some additional cloud cover to
northern Wisconsin, but that front is just going
to stay to the north of us, struggling to even
move through because of the high pressure stuck in place.
So that is what is going to give us
a continuation of southerly winds warming up our temperatures,
but also prevent us from seeing any
kind of rain as we are moving through the week ahead.
Let's dig into sky vision a little more
because there will be one part that's different today.
It's going to be all about the winds and
really the winds have kept us warmer overnight.
They've prevented frost from forming, but also
southwesterly winds will increase in speed today.
So we could be talking about some sustained winds
near 20 miles an hour.
Gusts could be near 30 miles an hour, so it will be on a breezy note
today, but still plenty of sunshine and yes,
it will be several degrees warmer as well. We are
going to continue to talk about the temperatures.
At least we're not seeing some of the 20s and 30s
this morning. We have a few upper 30s inland,
but mainly low to mid 40s starting off the day
and we could again see our temperatures in the low
to mid 60s by the afternoon. So looking good
from here on out again a little warmer today
in the forecast. We'll continue
to track our temperatures dipping
into the upper forties to low fifties by
9 10 o'clock tonight and we could see again the potential of some upper
thirties and low forties come monday morning. But we are not looking at
having a problem with cold or frost for the week ahead.
The big picture that
we're going to talk about
though is lots of sunshine each and every day.
It really is going to be a spectacular fall week
and I think it will get even
better as we head towards thursday
and friday notice we have the 70s on there and yes friday
we got the brewers logo it is the first game of the world series
and we're looking good here at
home in american family field forecast wise so we're
