Where have I been?

Hi there. Nice to see you. I decided to go live for a few minutes to talk about where I've been and what's going on. So yeah, I know. I've been getting emails and messages asking where I am and how come I'm not getting notified and that stuff. I have been fished Hello, hello, Mach369. Good to see you. I've not been inactive. I've been actually very active, but not doing YouTube videos. And I want to explain why, because it's important. We have a Facebook user, use ASL. We have a deaf person watching. Interesting. I will try. I have not been signing for a very long time, so I'll try to sign while I'm talking. And thank you for asking. Let's see, why? It would help if you would go over to YouTube and watch me on youtube you'll be able to read the the text there which is not on facebook well let's see crystal is here nice to see you scuba steve okay we've got we've got about 10 people watching i want to explain what i've been doing i've for the most part have been on discord helping set up a program that is going to create a book about the father fish system there are so far seven people working on this most of them are researchers scientific researchers who are currently excited about researching this area of concern. That is the dirted aquarium, the natural aquarium, a system that is able to perpetuate itself long-term without a great deal of effort. it's really hard for me to sign and talk it's been so long since i've done that about about 40 years anyway that's where i've been is on discord so i strongly recommend you to get involved uh the link is below it's uh for the deaf it's easy because it's mostly typing reading and writing i am on there helping people hours every day more and more people are coming to the discord channel and offering up their problems more and more people are learning how to deal with the problem, and are becoming teachers themselves. So it's really becoming something wonderful and amazing. It provides an opportunity for a person any time to get into that program, to offer the problem they're having. And it might be an emergency. Something that's happening right now that needs to be dealt with and we can provide the kind of help that's needed in order to resolve the problem so i encourage you to get involved with the discord channel this sunday we'll be having a live stream here on youtube that will be a meeting of the researchers who are involved in writing the book about deep substrate, natural aquariums, and balanced tanks. I think it's going to be about three o'clock in the afternoon on Sunday. We will be announcing it probably tomorrow. It will be very interesting. And we'll also provide an opportunity for anyone who's interested to get involved and to become part of this really amazing new project wow what's wow yeah i i learned sign language was as a child my grandmother and grandfather were deaf and i was a minister for a deaf church for about 15 years i've been away from it for a very long time and i lost much of the ability to sign well so it's a little iffy yeah it'll be interesting um one of the some things that have been happening on youtube that really are problematic um as you can see there are currently 10 people watching there should be well over a hundred but youtube does not um send my videos out to very many people very very few people know i'm all providing any kind of of video so whereas in the past i was getting six seven thousand views now it's a few hundred at best currently 11 people are watching um it just it demonstrates the difficulty that creators are having dealing with with youtube and dealing with the problems that are provided this is hard work it's expensive it's not simple to do um and it it's just tough all around and now they've made it more difficult by making it impossible for upwards of a hundred thousand uh creators youtube creators to earn any money at all even though they're monetized uh i'm included in that group uh youtube is no longer sending money to me that i've earned so it's that's part of the reason i'm i'm spending so much time on discord because it's better contact with people we are currently at a thousand people on the server with activity that's 24 hours a day. So YouTube is attracting less and less of my interest, even though I have an enormous number of videos on YouTube, more than 1,000. Anyway, Sunday afternoon is going to be wonderful. It'll be amazing. You need to come and participate and learn what we're doing to promote this most amazing system that we've developed here on Father's Day. So we'll see you on Sunday. And I'm happy someone asked me to sign, even though it's lousy. I'm happy to do it anyway. Take care. Love you. Bye for now.
