(561) Easy Acrylic Flowers 💐| How-to Paint Flowers
Today I'm painting some easy acrylic flowers! I am using the bloom technique, this time working with a simple straw to blow out my colors and create beautiful poppy petals.
Follow along!
I am working on a 12x16 inch canvas today. For my base coat, I created this beautiful textured yellow background which I achieved by using cotton balls to blend out some areas. For the flowers, I used a mix of burnt sienna and two shades of yellow acrylic paint.
I am SO happy with how it turned out, my previous poppy flower video (you can check it out here 👉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVpcN_PEscY) was a lot darker and moodier. I much prefer this bright and yellow version!
I really love using this technique, it's such an easy way to paint abstract flowers. Let me know in the comment if you would like to see more flower paintings! 🌹🌷💐🌻
