(532) Northern Lights Dip Technique, Embellished with Silhouette Trees

In this video, I am painting the Northern Lights using the dip technique! I used a square 8x8 canvas and dipped it in a diamond shape instead of a square. I used dark midnight blue, turquoise blue, light blue, and two different shades of light green. I mixed all of these with Sargent art gloss medium and water. I then used my filbert brush to gently pat on the tree silhouettes. I love how the colors blended together to recreate this dreamy sky.
