(551) Pink Bloom Acrylic Painting with Pigments

Today I am working on a bloom acrylic painting with pigments. I had fun making these, I think they turned out beautifully! 🌸

The process:

I'm am using leftover pink and purple ColorArte pigments from a previous piece (see here 👉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bBf4R7hVAM&t=8s).

I'm working on a small wooden circle and canvas and using white house paint as my base. I then lightly blew out the colors using my Revlon hairdryer before spinning the painting on my cake stand. I find spinning works better for me than tilting as I get an even coverage and interesting cells.

While spinning my second painting I laid down a piece of freezer paper to create some acrylic skins (you can see how I do this in this video 👉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrTT2qVUdpg).
