(538) Butterfly Silhouette Swipe Acrylic Painting

Trying out something new today with this swipe acrylic painting! I really enjoyed experimenting with embellishments and would love to know your thoughts.

I am working on a small 6x6inch canvas. I am using turquoise, magenta, orange and yellow, all mixed with water and Floetrol, to create the background. I then used a damp paper towel to swipe my white paint, which is mixed with a little silicone oil, to create some cells. I then used black fluid acrylic paint to draw the butterfly silhouette onto the painting.
