The Miami Heat have a terrifying new identity and his name is Giannis Antetokounmpo. No, he's not going to be able to go out there and win all 82 games by himself, but with him at the forefront of everything, this Miami Heat team is absolutely terrifying and we got our most recent example of it last night in a preseason game, the final home preseason game for the Miami Heat as they were absolutely dominant and it just Giannis has made this world and this team so different and so much better in the span of a just a few weeks I cannot wait until the regular season actually begins and games are considered important and impactful and considered to actually matter because once that takes place the rest of the league is going to be terrified to play this Heat team. I'm here to break down the new injury updates surrounding Giannis, Larson, and various others a part of this Miami Heat team, as well as how this preseason game actually went and how Giannis looks to be an MVP caliber type of player at this start. Like, they are getting great production throughout the entirety of their roster, and it's only going to continue to get better and better for this Miami Heat team because of how much attention Giannis Antetokounmpo actually demands and how great of a player he actually is. Something I should also mention, the defense for Giannis. a steal and three blocks in that game including arguably the best defensive play of the of the post or excuse me not the postseason of the of not spring training of preseason thinking baseball sorry it is MLB playoff time it's a great time of the year but baseball or basketball is right on the cusp Giannis goes up with two hands and blocks a dunk attempt basically just took this guy's lunch money so much fun Giannis said post game I just want the regular season to start that's when i get my dopamine and if it if if he improves from what we're seeing now that mvp caliber player is only going to continue he filled it up in a magnitude of different ways yes he did miss both of his uh three point shots but he's able to get at the basket and no one can do anything about it and if they do converge he's able to make the correct pass and open up so many other opportunities for other players on this miami heat team and i really cannot wait we got these reactions from SuperHeat on Twitter, a thing of beauty, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and he's not wrong. It's so fun to watch. They're going to be able to score at will on any given night, and it's not just because Giannis is going to have 30 and Bam's going to have 25. Giannis might have 30, but he might also have 8 to 10 assists like we saw in this game because that's what he does. that is what he can do and it's going to unlock so many other outside factors outside of Giannis Antetokounmpo in this game again 15 rebounds and nine assists on 80 percent shooting if he doesn't attempt a three-point shot he shoots a hundred percent from the field it is this is exactly what Miami Heat fans have been waiting for now what now we are going to get to is the injury update Why did Bam Adebayo not play? Why did Pello Larson not play? We'll start with Bam Adebayo as we got this update from Twitter Heat injury report: Drew Smith is out with a calf, Larson is out with illness and Bam Adebayo is dealing with right groin tightness and they were all out for the exhibition game today, Bam is considered day-to-day so no, it's not time to instantly panic, Bam is going to be out for a long period of time. Already no, that is not the case. If they are considered injured, it is listed as day-to-day. Drew Smith, yeah or Bam Adebayo and Larson all considered day-to-day and expected to be back tomorrow for this Miami Heat team where they host another don't host they go to I believe Orlando for another preseason game, this is exactly what the Miami Heat have been waiting for and it's exactly what we want to see, it's exactly what everyone expected it's, it's, we've been waiting for this. I know we had Jimmy Butler and he made those runs in the playoffs especially in the bubble but it hasn't felt like this before in a long long time.
