I'm sick of this

Hey guys, thanks for tuning in. We're inside today, it's a rainy day. There's going to be no trip video this week. As you can probably tell, it's a Friday. This is the midweek video that did not come out midweek. I'm shooting this Thursday morning. Posting it tomorrow. Yes, because you were sick. I was sick. I was so sick, guys. You know that kind of sickness where it's like, you can't do anything? Like, you're dead? It was like that. I so what I had done I had planned on going out with Mike camping and I told you guys that we were gonna go back up to the shelter we're gonna go to the lean-to and I drove up and spent the night at Mike's house so we got there I we hung out for the night and in the middle of the night I get up to go pee and I am just I just realized I'm sick as a dog I got chills aches and like freezing I'm sweating my throat sore it's just like just this whole just sick and uh that was whatever three four in the morning so i just lay in bed until like seven i finally hear mike getting up with his kid the whole plan was he's gonna drop his kid off uh daycare we go early up to uh the lean-to and spend two nights there i hear him get up with his kid and stuff so unfortunately we couldn't go on that trip i apologize to Mike, I apologize to you guys um apologize to you for not being gone longer but I I couldn't do it and um like I pushed myself hey like yeah before like I've been sick and gone yeah and this was not even that like I had to drive home the three hours from Mike's house, homesick and I you were out of it you got home yeah you were right out of it so I spent the next almost a week in bed and um I'm much better now I'm not fully recovered I still uh feel very very weak I literally only ate like a half a bowl of cereal or sorry half a bowl of soup homemade chicken soup that will made for like three days in a row that's all I ate I had some popsicles I lost literally I lost weight I know that's hard to believe but I did I went to have lunch with my mom yesterday and she told me even my face you can see it ah that's done that's all done with um it's nice to I always have this like little feeling in my head like that'd be all right to be sick for a little bit you know I mean lay in bed for a few days Netflix and chill and that's not the case with this one this was this needed to be done with I couldn't even keep my eyes open I was passed out you're trying to go talk to you a few times yeah yeah I was crazy but anyways everything's better now I plan on leaving in a few days for another trip that whenever they hear we go it's frogs if you guys didn't know they're frogs and whenever they there's loud noises if we're like arguing or if the TV's on loud or like siren, the geese flew by honking and then the stupid frogs started doing the same thing, I love them, I love having the frogs, one of my favorite animals, but yeah so I'm gonna go out a few days I'm gonna do a real trip I don't know what I'm gonna do yet, I have no idea, maybe some of these packages will have something to do with the kind of trip that I do. I think I did that with Kyle I think we did that one a couple like maybe five April's ago the Jordan Pathway sounds very very familiar and there was a bunch of call it deer poop alley or something there's like more deer poop than I ever thought I have to try to link that actually that was a great trip thank you thank you for the memory not dog-friendly spectacular so he's basically just talking about the the trails that the Manistee in the North Country and the Jordan Pathway trails which I'm definitely going to do probably in April and additionally find And some useful stuff. Just sit here. sit right here so this is a white tarp this is from Bushcraft Outfitters, my buddy, my good buddy and mentor Terry Barney aka Iowa Woodsman on the YouTube and Instagram sent me this, so this it might invest my opinion best of my knowledge this is a 10 by 10 ripstop which should be very similar to my coyote yellow one that you guys have seen me use for like seven or eight years so i'll be using that, i think this is my next trip to use this uh tarp, i think, don't hold me to it, i don't know what i'm going to do next but that's a good uh idea, i like, i like to use this and then i think he said he's sending me a poncho as well, this might be the poncho that they got that that they got uh made up for the store, just like, like the tarp is, yeah i'm sure it is, so this is heavier duty, do you guys remember my video uh maybe my last real camping video where i did the the minimal gear with the sling, the mother carrier and everything, okay, so i had a, i had a tarp in there, a silnylon tarp much smaller than this, it packed down probably to half the size of this this is very uh robust compared to that, so yeah this will be getting some use too as a secondary shelter and as a rain poncho so i think i have three ponchos now, this one is the bulkiest by far the the most uh durable it seems although i'm just looking at it for the first time now All right. Pretty decent. Maxpedition style, just from looking at it off the top of my head. I'm not saying that it's a rip-off or that it is, it's just that's what I call that style.
