Thursday, everyone. It's a pleasant morning. Nice and clear.
You can see that from this shot right here. Believe it or not,
we do have some lingering sky cover, about 20%. But a lot of sunshine.
We're almost going to mirror what we saw yesterday.
So anticipate a warm day.
Numbers ticking up by about five degrees, depending on where you are.
We can thank this area of high pressure for that.
Bringing breezy to windy, downright gusty conditions,
especially for high wind prone areas.
So there is this elevated fire danger, right?
I think most of you already know.
So with that said, we are looking at a red flag warning.
It's going to be a bit short-lived, looking to expire today at 2 p.m.
But let's treat this as it's going
to carry us through this coming weekend.
Relative humidity, as you can see right here, not bad at this hour.
But once we hit midday hours,
we're going to see most of this in the teens.
Some areas a single digit as far as relative humidity is concerned.
So you can feel it in your skin
and really just unseasonal as far as how dry it is.
Here's what we're looking like as far as our rain chances, everyone.
So, track and moisture, really, yesterday, the day before.
And originally, we were planning on seeing rain shots begin
really Monday late afternoon into the early parts of the evening.
This has been pushed back, say, by about 12 hours.
So, as you can see, Tuesday morning looking to be a wet one.
And now, this cell is looking to kind of swirl overhead,
bringing us about three days of rain chances.
You can see this here.
Thursday, it's going to wrap up fairly quickly.
But still, you can see in this shot right here, lingering shots.
All of this subject to change, but as of now,
here's what we are anticipating.
Potentially a little over a quarter
of an inch of rain for areas such as Monterey
and about a twentieth of an inch for areas such as San Jose.
So you can see some areas, we wouldn't necessarily
call it measurable rain, but something significant.
Winds, keep in mind, we're talking 30 plus mile
per hour gusts for high wind prone areas.
And this is where I just shared with you that red flag warning is.
These are the conditions that are going
to carry us through today, tomorrow, late Saturday.
We'll start to see things calm down.
Sunday should be fairly quiet.
91 for Fairfield, 86 for Antioch.
These are your forecasted highs.
And again, look at this.
10-degree drop, another 10-degree drop.
20 degrees in 48 hours with a shot of rain.
Very busy out there.
All right, stick with us.
We've got more, as you already know.
We'll see you in just a minute.
