2 Night Crown Land Camp with my Family and Dog in Northern Ontario!

Hello, how are you folks doing? We've got a little bit of a different video today. We're going to do some crown land camping. We've got the truck, we've got it loaded up. We've got the big canoe on top. And check this out, we just pulled up to this spot. We've also got the jeep. We've got the family coming up. I'm sure we're digging a hole as usual. Hey baby! Are you running? What's he doing? What? Are we camping? And this is our lookout. We're going to camp right here. On this awesome lake. There's a trout in there. We'll try our hand at getting some. It's a hard I think right here is good, it's flat and it's kind of close to the fire pit but I don't think that it's that big of a deal. It's all one tent. Can you help me put the poles together? Although that tent is just a Canadian Tire special Coleman. It might be Walmart, but I don't expect it to be too waterproof. But it's big enough for all of us, so that's a plus. Let's eat the cheese. It's right there. uh they wouldn't be scared at all who is scared of a bear not me okay now i'm gonna fart you're you're almost there just go the rest of the way go push hard and you can do it use your hands and your feet I promise you got it push hard go go go keep going don't stop go good job Annie you're putting all your faith in that right now hi did you have a good sleep did you have a good sleep you camping you want some bacon okay let's go make some want bacon and oatmeal just oatmeal with me oh thank you out we're leaving we're leaving we're gonna go find somewhere else to camp look at your baby's face hey Otto what's up you cool dude yeah okay I love you mommy bye daddy bye I'll see you at the next camp spot bye daddy bye all right so we'll go up to the long way okay what no two more what long way to what the next camp spot we'll go find another camping spot we'll go explore I got a map and we'll go find a spot to camp okay oh okay look at my car seat this one's my favorite rather than the pink one yeah you don't like pink anymore do you no this one's the only one with green all right let's so you heard it that place is pretty decent but pretty windy as well and if I'm being honest the sky is pretty dark so we're gonna go find a spot that's a little bit more in the woods as opposed to so exposed we'll still look for somewhere near water but there's the Sun anyways we got all day we'll go find another spot in camp again we doing oh what took what did it take to get here What did it take? Like how long? Or just all the driving down all the back roads? All the twists and turns and trying to find places. And there's people in all of the nice quiet places where you expect no one to be. Yeah. But we found this. It's pretty awesome all to ourselves. So there's a little bit of sun. But we got some shade over here. What's that? It's not windy. The car blocking the way in. The road's just out there, not too far. But it's a seldom used road. You can tell people camped here before obviously got a fancy clothesline times two but then a bridge but also we've got a river so that's kind of cool triple can play in the river so can the baby and if it's deep enough under the bridge maybe I can catch a fish what baby what's up yeah what do you want to camp here I think I think you should put the tent over here, eh? In the shade? Yeah, I like it over here. You good? Okay. Drafts and mosquitoes just float down the river She's on and everything. We'll go in there a little bit later. We gotta get the tent set up. The one negative about Crownland spots, especially ones you can drive up to, cause there's trash, but we'll clean it up. Have a big fire and burn it all out. What? Do not grow on something that looks like that They're a lot smaller to the ground. They don't have a big stalk like that. They're not these are not blueberries I promise you well our trail was the trail to the pooper The pooping place We gotta set up some camp now There's actually a full size barbecue over here But I didn't know I forgot my canister Of propane at home You wanna play baseball? Let's do it I can't even open my eyes Joey So it's about 5 o'clock We went swimming in the river for a little bit Now we're getting ready to cook some supper Joey's over here cooking for us What you making honey? Corn on the cob, only hot dogs And two ribeyes looking good right here right here the wild animals no autumn you eat yours oh she said my turn so autumn try to pass hers there you go look at all the corn right here look at all that corn no you can't use your fork bite it baby bite it i saw the corn blader sisters we have to uh watch tripper around the corn cobs for some reason he has an obsession with eating corn cobs and then ralphing them back up. Corn cobs. Corn cobs. He was worried about the corn cobs more than he was worried about the steak bits we were giving him. Are you eating yours? That turned out real well. Just throwing them in the husks on the grill. Turned out very crispy. The husk kind of steams it. Delicious. Autumn, delicious? Autumn, say, bam son. Bam son. Bam son. Bam son. I'll buy you a song. Everybody's gone to bed. I'm just cleaning up. I'm going to head to bed too. There's some crazy stars tonight. You can see the Milky Way and everything. Good night, guys. Tommy's still in bed. We're making a fire to make a breakfast. He did his tennis ball. What could you possibly want? Get your ball. Come. Out. Good boy. Down. Good boy. Almost like a dog. It's unseasonably cold. 18th, 19th, 20th maybe around there. And as you can see I'm all dressed to warm. We've been dressed warm the whole time. We went swimming just briefly. This is how cold it was. This spot here with this shallow river would have been an ideal spot for the kids to play if it were hot. But I know this is a completely different video. But this is what I'm doing with the kids and the wife and the dog. Crowman camping with the family. I do have some epic stuff planned and I have an epic trip already shot. I've just been very busy this summer going out doing trips with not being allowed to for the first half of the year. It was like I felt the urgency to get out and go do trips and then especially if they consider to do what they said in the fall and lock things down again then we'll definitely want to have done all the things we wanted to do for the year outside wise. It's been good though. It's been a good time with the family. This is the third day we're out. Stay around here for a while, eat, and go home. We go about two, two and a half hour drive home. We'll take our time and check out some other spots along the way too, because this is all new to us. Tripper, stop digging, buddy. Yeah, this is all new to us, so it's fun. It's fun to explore, find new places like this that are easily accessible. We don't have to pay, we don't have to fight the crowd. We can do what we want, so it's nice. You know, if I was car camping, having Tripper there next to a family, right, like a lot next to us, it wouldn't be very ideal it's nicer coming to places like this crown land where there's no real like neighbors we don't have any crown or we don't have any car camping neighbors we can't uh we couldn't be our annoying selves if if there was so here we're free to be uh as loud and obnoxious as we want and it's nice it's nice to be able to do what we want have the freedom to go swimming fishing if um you're right if it was hotter outside this this little river would have been perfect for the kids to uh to play in the whole time can you throw that this ball he's asking you a little black rubber girls can you pause that for a second time to go home or what you want to go home Autumn you say goodbye to everyone love you thanks for what thanks for watching all right good all right guys thanks for watching we'll see you on the next one bye say bye everyone say it one more time girls thanks for watching mommy bye love you see you tripper big guy guys we'll be back with an epic camping trip, I promise.
