ROAD TRIP PROBLEMS | Trying to get to Manitoulin Island | Road trip across Canada

Today we start off our day bright and early at 5:20 am to see the sunset rise from the clear blue water of Indian Head Cove in Bruce Peninsula National Park. It’s our last day here and so continues our trip across Canada. Next, we try to make it to Manitoulin Island, the largest freshwater island in the world! We screwed up and did not book a ferry from the town of Tobermory to the town o South Baymouth on Manitoulin Island and they are fully booked for the next two weeks! So now we have to drive around the entire Georgian Bay adding 5 extra hours of driving… It was an emotional day to say the least.

We met at LaSalle Secondary School in Kingston Ontario and we’ve been together for over 8 years now. Keith comes from a bilingual military family and Devon from a Kingston family full of teachers. We made it through Queen’s University together, where Keith studied Mechanical Engineering and Devon, Concurrent Education and Global Development. Right now we’re travelling across Canada in a Dodge Caravan for the entire month but come January 2022 we have bigger plans in mind.
