Selma Blair's on-again, off-again boyfriend
is issuing a public plea for the troubled actress,
following her bizarre blow-up on a Delta flight.
Businessman Andy Kiernan wrote on Instagram, per the Daily Mail,
Pray for Selma. She has a good heart.
She hasn't yet got the help she needs.
Pray that she does. She's a human being like the rest of us.
Pray for Arthur, too.
Blair shares a 15-year-old son,
Arthur St. Blake, with her ex, Jason Blake.
The mother-of-one faces serious prison time
for allegedly biting a flight attendant,
attacking another, forcing the crew
to restrain her on an October 11th flight.
After touching down at JFK, she allegedly attacked a cop and a nurse.
But apparently, it's business as usual for the Legally Blonde actress.
She's still set to appear at a 90s convention
this weekend in Hartford, Connecticut.
The organizers That's For Entertainment confirmed
on Instagram that Selma Blair
will be joining us at 90sCon as planned.
See you there!
At the Nostalgia Fest, the 54-year-old Cruel Intentions star
is set to sign autographs and selfies for $60 a pop
and $100 for a combo, with professional photo ops priced at $85,
according to the event's website.
Among other 90s names on the schedule are Full House stars John Stamos,
Lori Loughlin, Dave Coulier, and Candace Cameron Bure,
as well as boy banders Joey Fatone from NSYNC,
Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys, and Zac Hanson from Hanson.
On Sunday, a Girl Power panel features Busy Phillips,
Rachel Leigh Cook, and Tara Reid.
So far, Blair is not set to speak.
On Monday, October 12, in court,
she pleaded not guilty to assault charges.
Her attorney claimed his client's airplane
meltdown was a medical emergency.
Your Honor, Ms. Blair is a 54-year-old single mother
with significant health issues.

on set and working extensive hours
and exhaustive hours in the days leading up to this flight.
Additionally, Your Honor, at one point during the flight,
there was an incident where Ms.
Blair actually fell and hit her head.
These factors, Your Honor, coupled with the altitude,
resulted in a state of severe confusion
and disorientation.
And the medical causes of this are corroborated
by the fact that law enforcement had to transport
Ms. Blair to the hospital last night,
where she was discharged after approximately seven or eight
hours, and just hours later,
she had to be transported back to the hospital for administration
of additional medication.
Ms. Blair did not get on that plane intending for any of this,
Your Honor. Again, this was a medical emergency.
