Look inside the St. Jude Dream House in Richmond

All right, let me tell you about the deal of the century, a four bedroom, three and a half bath home in Richmond for just $100. So we've been showing you this QR code all morning for days now. This is where you go to enter by buying a $100 ticket and that puts you in the running to win this house for $100. All at the same time while you're helping St. Jude who does incredible work by treating children who are battling serious illness and they help the families by never sending them a bill. So we have Melissa Wilson, who is live in your brand new home, showing you around your fabulous new home, Melissa. Well, I think that a lot of people don't even realize all the stuff that goes in it. And all the partners in the greater Houston area who truly step up to the plate to make sure that your $100 goes directly to the patients. Think about this. The doors. Do you know how all of this adds up? The tile. But let's get you back to the doors. I had Gabriel Amador here with Amtech's Tile. I mean, something like the woodwork, things like this, it all adds up. How did you get involved with this project? And thank you for making all of this come to life, by the way. Absolutely. So Empire reached out to me and they asked if I wanted to participate, which I couldn't deny. So I went ahead and helped them out. And this isn't your first rodeo. You've actually done one of the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaways, have you been with this before? Yes, ma'am. I actually did the one in Atwater over there. And what was it? Yeah. So obviously that was meaningful to you and it was a positive experience. So you're back at it. So what all did you help do in this home? So in this home, we're helping with all the interior millwork, the master closet. We're helping out with the fans. We're helping out cleaning the interior of the house, make sure it's always clean. And that's about it. Yeah. Well, that's not just about it. That's a lot. I want to give everybody a good idea of what the house looks like. So you're in the game room right now. And there's also this really cool media room. And this is how I picture you here at this home, okay? You step up here and up here on the wall is a screen the size of Texas with Fox 26 Morning News to welcome you every single day. Doesn't that sound like home? Look at the lighting. I think this is such a cool touch. And this could be your media room for only $100. Like Lena said, talk about the deal of a century. It doesn't get any better than that. So the house is really starting to come to life. You can see some of the cabinet work in here, some really cool built-ins. I gave you an example of that earlier. And then we're starting to see the flooring and all the tile come in. So I'll come back here and show you. Again, four bedroom, three and a half baths. You can see here the floor and the tile and the shower has come into life. You've got a nice little peekaboo window up there. And guess what? It is only the neighbor's roof line. So you still have plenty of all of your privacy in your shower. So that QR code is your best friend, because today, if you get your ticket today by midnight, well, let's say 11.59 tonight, you also get a chance for a $10,000 Visa card, as well as Hello Attic, as well as the Dream Home. So I hope that you'll kindly consider that and truly make a difference for everybody at St. Jude. All right, so that's your little mini tour. I'm going to give you so much more next hour.
