What do you think Bryson does?
I don't really know.
The last time we saw him, he was giving away $100,000
for beating him in a match played over the top of his house.
I couldn't even watch the clip.
I just think it's...
What is he going to do?
I don't see him play the DP World.
I could honestly just see him playing YouTube in the majors.
He's playing the Ned Bank event this fall.
I think he's actually signed up for a couple of DP World Tour events
but I just don't know, you know
is that just sort of a—is he getting appearance fee
for some of those, is that just sort of a test
to see, hey, could I do a European schedule
and and maybe like it and draw fans and and also is that
a bet on himself where you go out
and start the year like Patrick Reed did this year, you win a
couple of events that's how you get your card back now
that option's on the table but I actually
could see him being the only guy that takes the LIV 2.0 equity
and and gets the largest chunk
of it by far, like his percentage of that equity might
be greater than everyone else in the league
combined because because is he seeing Rahm and Neiman
and these guys all potentially not coming
back and seeing is like, all right, I'm just gonna have
my own golf league, I don't really
this is my opportunity but the only problem
is man, like there's for him there will be no guarantee
that he will be in major championships
past whatever his last win was, which was 2020.
So he's got basically three-year runway
of major championships that he really needs to win another.
It's the bottom line.
That's what he wants to do.
Certain ones of them, obviously, you can finish top 10,
get in next year, things like that.
But I think that for Bryson,
the reason I ask is because he just seems so content
to start leaning into this new world.
Like when you're going from, you know, before it was, Hey,
I'm going to go play these full courses.
I'm going to play with other content creators.
I'm going to do this sort of fun YouTube channel thing.
And then you start getting the validation of a tons of subscribers.
Now we're going to use it for major prep.
We're going to go talk to the governing body
and play Oakmont before the U S
open and see what we shoot. He's creating his own games.
Now like the a hundred thousand dollar match
with all the content creators,
like that's a Mr. Beast golf play.
so we're we're really getting to the point where
if if he wants to lean to that all the way and
then just ride out his exemptions until 2029 i think
that's maybe more likely than seeing him
play a whole DP World Tour is he not just better off just starting
his own tour like why does he need
to LIV 2.0 like i guess the infrastructure is already in place
and also i think the thing that
people a lot of people said
who are smarter than me in this sort of domain is they were able to
it depends on the type of bankruptcy filing
and how it's seen in court but there are some legal
theories that center on being able to transfer the losses incurred
and live 1.0 and use it as
tax write-offs for live 2.0
so well wasn't that what PIF was like i don't know why PIF would
be concerned because don't they i guess they
probably still have a minority stake in LIV
but i guess big enough to where they were like hey uh
are you guys just using this for write-offs
which we don't judge well i mean i think like
for PIF like you almost want them to
like if you still have a stake in it
and and i assume yeah what's their beef they need somebody
to do it well they need they need someone to do it right
and if they have a stake in it and all
of a sudden it becomes profitable
in some limited fashion less than they would have hoped or
expected but in some limited fashion
and they have a stake in it at least they're making more money
than they were before it's crazy we're talking
about five billion dollars or something that
they've spent um and it's you know what's even more bizarre
is that they're i think they're
operating like cash that they currently have
is like four million dollars or something from BC
which is we're talking about five billion like go type
in into your phone the difference between
five billion dollars and four million you're gonna be blown away
Thank
you.
