Alright, new week, but before we go ahead,
obviously not good enough by us on Saturday.
We're a work in progress.
Sometimes that progress is dysfunctional, and we have a long way
to go to get to where we need to be as a football team.
We're going to keep showing up. Our guys are,
there's going to be no woe is me, you know, downtrodden deal.
We've got to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, move on.
This is a challenging week, week in, week out,
and we have to be more prepared, more ready for those challenges.
It starts with me leading the guys.
The guys were great this morning in meetings with corrections
and taking ownership, and we're trying to lay a foundation
of how we wanted this to look moving forward,
and we've got a lot of work to do.
But guys have had the right demeanor, the right mindset
as we started this new week,
and probably had a little bit longer meetings today,
a touch shorter practice today.
Full disclosure, I probably hit on a few more things
with each side of the ball directly
just to try to make sure that I'm being engaged
with each side of the football the right way
to help them see the vision that we have
for how we want to play football here.
And so, but the guys are, they're resilient
and we have to close ranks,
have each other's back, and move forward.
Tremendous challenge in Texas. Very talented
team. It's all over the tape when you watch it.
They've got great players in every facet, and they're
well coached. Going on the road is never easy, so we'll have to
handle that well. Excited about
getting back to work and moving forward.
