Packers GM Brian Gutekunst on Projecting Players

We talk a lot about, we want to get these guys in the comfort zone. And early on, they're not. They're learning and they can be frozen up. But at times, they're still thinking and trying to ask for help. Some guys still might be going through that. So it's our job to kind of figure out where they're going to be. The guys who are there probably seem to start to excel a little bit. It's different for every player. There are times where guys get there quicker, but you kind of feel like another player, when he gets there, is going to be another player. It happens sometimes. But you're constantly watching and seeing how these guys are doing. Some guys fade, some guys really pick up at the end. But at the end of the day, it's not necessarily completely what they've done. But it's what we've done.
