Democrat lobbyist weighs in on Trump's popularity ahead of midterms

Democratic Lobbyist Nathan Daschle says US President Donald Trump is not the asset he thinks he is for Republicans as the midterms draw closer.

“Donald Trump is the least popular president since Harry S Truman,” Mr Daschle told News24.

“His approval rating is 32 per cent. His approval rating with independents is 24 per cent.”
