Inside Canada's Fast Food PARADISE!! (Montreal, Quebec)

Montreal has the best fast food in all of Canada 🇨🇦 — and today we're eating a 70-year secret sauce burger, steamé hot dogs since 1912, a drive-in inside a giant orange, and the chicken and chouriço poutine locals call one of the best dishes in the city. With Luke Martin @LukeMartin
Day 2 in Montreal, and today it's all about casse-croûte — Montreal's own fast food universe, fast, cheap, and found nowhere else on Earth! Luke Martin of Chopsticks Travel is back, and we start with the new legend: Ma Poule Mouillée in the Plateau for piri-piri chicken and their famous chicken, chouriço and São Jorge cheese poutine. Then back to 1912 at Montreal Pool Room on the Main for the original steamé hot dog, before the other side of the debate — the toasté — at Decarie Hot Dog in Ville Saint-Laurent, open since 1969. We pull into Gibeau Orange Julep, the three-storey orange on Décarie Boulevard serving its secret Julep since 1932, then head to Montréal-Nord for Dic Ann's, where one family has guarded a burger sauce recipe since 1954. And we finish in Saint-Henri at Greenspot, a 1947 diner where you can order every Montreal fast food ever invented on one table — smoked meat, poutine, steamés, and more!
