I love it. It's one of my favorite part of the day is when coach just pops in.
I love that it's me because he probably feels most comfortable that I got the job.
If someone else got it, he might not feel as comfortable walking into that office.
He can hesitate walking in on me.
I love that. It's my favorite part of the day where he comes up and gets his hoop fix.
It might happen in a conversation where he comes in and I'll tell him stop eating lunch on your lap.
Get in here and eat it at my desk.
We just talk hoop or he'll show up for practice and just watch practice.
Coach and I haven't had a lot of at length basketball talks in terms of what I'm going to do
and who I intend on playing this and this role that.
Coach comes and gets his hoop fix and then he and I talk life
which has become really, really cool for me over the years to experience this side of our relationship.
Coach knows I value his opinion. He also knows he doesn't need to force it on me.
He knows if I need it, I'm going to ask him for it.
We're just at a great stage of our relationship.
He's 26 years and he's in my life.
Just something that I truly, really value. I'm so blessed that I still have that in my life.
