🚨 WITKOFF SAYS CIA INTELLIGENCE DIDN’T MATCH WHAT THEY WERE HEARING DIRECTLY ON THE GROUND

Steve Witkoff (@SEPeaceMissions) says he and @JaredKushner were hearing directly from leaders in the region that Hamas was positive on the deal.

But the @CIA briefings Witkoff was receiving three times a day were telling them something different:

“Those intelligence briefings were suggesting that Hamas was going to say no.”

And that brings us right back to what Joe Kent (@joekent16jan19) has been warning about: bad intelligence reaching @POTUS.

Kent says the original red line on Iran was clear: Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. But he argues that somewhere along the way, that shifted into Iran can have no nuclear enrichment, dramatically changing the room available for negotiations.

So if intelligence coming from inside the government doesn’t match what officials are hearing directly on the ground, who is shaping the information reaching the President - and why?
