US President Donald Trump said a threat linked to Iran prompted the US to move Air Force bombers away from RAF Fairford in England. He said Washington did not want to “tempt the enemy” by keeping the aircraft at the British base following heightened security concerns over a suspected terror plot. Trump said the bombers had been used in strikes against Iran and were moved back to the US, though “not very far.” He also pledged support for American farmers facing higher diesel costs and said his administration was considering measures to reduce fuel expenses.
